Spy tool

I will not be using this app anymore. Because I declined letting the app keep tracking my location even while I am not using the app, it is now next to useless. Good thing I still have Lyft installed, because with Uber there is not even an option in the privacy tab in the phones settings menu for tracking location "Only while using" like there is for other apps (Including Lyft).

Uber has frequently overcharged me and surprised me with surges. Save your time and money and choose a better ride sharing app. Choose a company with better business practices, one where the CEO actually cares for his employees and doesnt use their customers personal data. Send a message to these shady Tech CEOs that profit over morals is NEVER ok.

Yeah, the app is slick and works but I cant support a company whose business model seems to rely upon breaking the law. Keep in mind that they will track your phone forever, even after the app is deleted, phone is wiped etc. Use at your own risk.

Wait time for uberpool is always more than 10 mins. Trip estimates keep delaying the arrival time endlessly. No refunds for completely longer than expected trips. The app only allows to review the driver and not the trip experience.

The size of this app keeps growing exponentially. Even spyware shouldnt be this big ;) Please listen to your users and get back to basics.

Dont use this app, its better to use lyft. I had my account and everything downloaded and one morning for school exams I decided I would depend on uber to get to school, big mistake.... I was dressed, had breakfast ready and school was starting in like 20 minutes. I open the app and call an uber, guess what? It keeps giving me an error saying the request couldnt process.... I checked the payment and address and everything but the message still came up. I even googled he solution and couldnt find no fix... Guess what? I had to run downtown and catch the bus to school, only to find out I couldnt take the exam because I was 10 minutes late thanks to uber. Uber, the worst taxi app you can download. If you want to be disappointed, this is the app for you.

When I found out about how they always track you even when the app was deleted or closed, it put into perspective that this company does not care about the privacy of its customers. Even if they stopped doing it, it shows that its company first, consumer second. Lyft is my top choice, uber is only a choice if I am in a bind.

Despite the internet saying otherwise, Uber is still great and offers more than Lyft.

They want to locate you at all time. Its whether you say never or always. Not while you use the app. Every time I try to set pickup and drop off, the price keep going up .

Location always tracking and ruining the battery

...not sure who they are directly marketing for...Im obviously not their "target market" but the app functions well enough.

Drivers love to cancel rides when surge begins. Screw you, Uber. The company and app are also very shady.

The recent events that have occurred, chalked up with what happened in 2015, has made me lose my trust with Uber. The experience Ive had with drivers and the service itself has been absolutely wonderful, but I cannot support a company any longer that invades my privacy to this extent. Its a true shame.

Uber cant be trusted. Too much spying. Too many secret projects.

I got SCAMMED. The first time I used this service my ride cancelled on me. Then Uber charged me $5.00 because the driver canceled. Now I cant get a refund, they gave me a credit on my next ride. Hey Uber! Give me my money back!

This is a stupid app, just looting money from people. Stay away from this scam
