I got charged $40 for spilling a small amount of my drink! The driver, after examine the spill, told me that it was to small of a spill and that I would not be charged and there was no need to wipe it up. I left a hefty tip as a thanks and an apology for the inconvenience. The next week I found out what uber charged me I was outraged. When looking at their cleaning charged the spill only qualified for the smallest fee. When I contacted uber support the were unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the issue in any way whatsoever. I will no longer use this app. Its unfortunate b/c I was spending an average of $40-80 a week with uber that will now be going to lyft.

They have started charging trip fares upfront so a driver can decide to call and ask where you are going beforehand and then cancel your trip after accepting it. When this happens you are typically charged for the holding fee which is the full fare of the trip. my Uber home typically costs about $60 so I am usually charged that amount for a cancelled Uber plus an additional $60 when I order and Uber that actually accepts my trip. Customer service is always very dismissive and never gives me a straight answer about refunds either. I once had $250 in charges that I had to wait a full week to be refunded for. Never using Uber again.

I stopped using Uber as soon as they started requiring you to share your location even when not using the app. I dont even let friends track my location, so why should Uber get that privilege? Switched to Lyft and never looked back. I get better service too.

Not a fan of the UI and authentication process. I just dont get why they cannot call to authenticate? What about people who do not have messaging in the age of whatsapp, imessaging, etc?

toggle on to order a ride & off when it arrives. ASSHOLES.

I entered two different credit cards to try and get a ride and neither of them would work even though I entered my cards correctly. I got Lyft (another transportation app) and instantly got a ride. Enough said.

Uber steals money

I have had the worst customer service experience EVER with this app. Ive also been left stranded twice in two days. My biggest issue is that I do not have an alternative service in Panama - but the moment I do you best believe I am done with this rubbish. DONE.

Uber is the most unreliable app I have ever downloaded, they are terrible with dealing with situations and have no idea how to deal with their customers.

Fabulous experience-My first ride and I was completely comfortable

Trip wouldnt update destination via destination change after the trip was underway. Caused all sorts of confusion when I had to give directions manually.

I have received nothing but great service and very courteous drivers.

Why am I charged $1 just for linking my account to PayPal??

Banned me and refuses to tell me why. Claims Ive been given several warnings, which is a lie. Ive been a loyal user for many years, but this customer service experience is perhaps the worst of my life.

Uber is out dated. Need a section where I can provide my driver with a tip like Lyft. Also, the uber map system needs to be updated as well: uber will lose customers if they do not soon make changes and updates!!!

I take Uber to work and back everyday. Got rid of my car as it made more financial sense - no more insurance, parking fees, car wash, maintenance, etc. Life changing. Its new features including map is much improved and you can follow your ride as it approahes your home in real time. Its also great for families. My daughter can share her journey with me and I can follow in real time that she is reaching home safely. Try Uber for free. Enter coupon "now2017" under payment and get a free trial ride.

Until you return me a choice when to share my location with Uber , Ill use other services .

Uber is one of the most unethical companies out there today. The CEO is garbage and the drivers are shady. They also operate illegally in St. Louis where as Lyft doesnt. Lyft also does through background checks unlike Uber.
