You dont need my location. Uber is forcing you to always share even when not using app.

As said in the title, a majority of drivers I get are not suitable for such a service. More times than not I get someone that is rude, reckless while driving, has no clue how to work a GPS, or simply canceled after already accepting my request. This paired with a buggy app that only gets worth with each update, as well as over charging is absolutely amazing how the app as a whole hasnt been shut down. Also, no I dont want to walk 4 blocks to a "popular pickup" pin because it is a busy street and I want to be picked up WHERE I CURRENTLY AM. Fix your god forsaken app.

Uber is a company notorious for deception, unethical/illegal behavior, and does not care if they need to burn the world in order to squeeze out competitors and make money. This app should be removed from the App Store immediately. It is dangerous to have this app installed on your phone and to continue using their services. I would recommend using Lyft, hailing cabs, or other ride sharing services in lieu of Uber.

After years of evangelizing Uber Im sad to say today was my last ride. The app to start with us cool in that it gives you a great view into the ride status, payments, and reviews. On the bad side it has become so buggy that its not useful. Today the app showed the car would be at my house within 8 min and 20 min later changed out the driver for someone else that would be there in 8 min. The second driver arrived around 10-15 min after so in total I waited over a half hr for the car and missed my meeting. The app crashes often and the Ubers customer support is nonexistent now that the telephone number has gone away. Ive been charged for rides I didnt take and it takes me longer to ask for the reimbursement than its with. They now track you even when youre not using the app which is a major security problem and should just be outlawed to only give never or always track. Its sad to say it but I am ready to try another ride app. I hope they are better!

Love Uber! Has saved me a lot of money. Drivers are very nice and friendly. Would like to know the color of the car picking me up and the driver should get to see a pic of the person theyre picking up.

I used to use uber pretty regularly but each consecutive experience has become more frustrating. First of all the app does not locate riders well which leads to confused drivers, frustrated riders and added waiting fees when youve been sitting there waiting for your ride all along. Also peak demand time fee inflation- for example charging $27 for an 11 minute ride at 9 pm on a Sunday- is ridiculous. Will not be using this app again.

I had already heard enough of Ubers malfeasance to delete the app months ago. Todays story is "Apple threatened to boot Uber from the App Store when it tracked users who deleted the app." Goodbye, CEO Kalanick. Your cheating, greed, law-breaking, and hubris are far out of line. § Since 2015, I have also used Lyft. Now I happily give them it all.

Ubers own policies contain various methods to cheat to undermine competitors, break App Store rules, and avoid obeying local laws. Do not do business with scum like this.

I dont know if there was an update with a bug or what, but every time Ive used uber in the past three days, Ive been unable to view my trip, my route or where my driver is in relation to me. I dont know whats going on but it makes me feel incredibly unsafe and its impossible to have any idea of when Ill arrive and if anyone else is going to be in the car

When I was want to use Uber App in my iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2, i wanted use the last resources of the last version of the app. But i needed download the last compatible app from itunes in my iphone 4 with 7.1.2, my question is which the reason to end support for iOS 7.1.2?

Uber was one of the most revolutionary apps released recently, key word being was. It serves its purpose well, but there are many key aspects that need to be addressed. Please keep in mind that these are specifically what I find most annoying about this app. First of all, both the driver and the passenger should be able to see each others photo and contact information. Second, when I have a driver who is truly outstanding, I would like to be able to tip them. Lyft has already implemented these features very well, and that is why Uber has been slowly losing popularity. Third, if Uber says that minors arent allowed to order, then drivers should get an incentive to turn them away. Finally, I have a huge tip for all of the employees at Uber: the update changelog isnt an advertising space. I want to know what changes when the app updates. It seems very desperate when you are begging for five star reviews is your update notes. Anyway, my final recommendation is: use uber if you care about being picked up quicker, but use Lyft if you have anything scheduled or if you prefer the amenities. Lyft undoubtedly has a better app, but Uber has more users (but this will soon change if they continue to ignore the feedback they have been receiving)

Overall my experience with the drivers have been good one. They are on time and very respectful. The app is easy enough to use. I do think that Uber itself is more concerned about the business side, rather than the customer service side. They should really work to find a balance with both. They could also give better incentives to their drivers. They get little to do a lot.

The last update took away ( at least in my case) the ability to plan future dated trips... I dont know if that has happened to anyone else, but I thought it was a pretty good idea. So hopefully my review will be taken into consideration and have this resolved . Overall Ill say 3 stars.

Drivers always cancel trips and take money!!!!

Wont except my payments through PayPal or Apple Pay. TRASH! And Im using a actual bank card . Needs to accept all types of payment

Bought a gift card Added a gift card wont let me use it just says add different payment code already used... stole 25 dollars from me noone to contact. Lyft is wayyy better.

I have no problem with service or quality of uber, but the last uber I took, Im pretty sure I left a black juul e-cig in it. I tried multiple times to contact the driver to no avail. Granted I was shwasted, the driver had texted me before arriving, and I tried calling the number but I kept being directed to provide my number. Which I did provide but I was met with an error on the other end. Tlfr; UBER is great, but being able to contact your driver in case you lose something should be easy access. I was even willing to tip more for him to drive back 2 minutes!
