Beware Of Unexpected Charges .. not just 1 or 2 dollars but 10$ ! My fare total was $6.09 to see that my credit card was charged 20$ . Please explain to me how you tell me one price and change it ! 2nd the drivers are unprofessional! I had a driver recently pick me up and drop me off to my destination .. I check the app to see he has me in route still , I contact him saying sir you have me in route still please end it .. he tells me he has no control of that uber has to fix it ! My card was charged nearly 50$ because he couldnt end the ride ! Contacted customer service to refund my money back and they only refunded half of it ! You guys are scammers !

Overall, Uber is great. While there are some things that could be improved, its a safe ride home. In terms of the price surges; the price doesnt raise just because there is an event. The price raises due to demand. If you have 5 drivers on the road, and 50 people are requesting ubers, a surge goes into effect to entice other drivers to get on the road. More drivers=shorter wait times. If there was no surge, those same 5 drivers would remain on the road, and it would take hours to get home. Think about cabs after a concert. If you cant afford to pay more for a ride after a large event, have someone pick you up or stay sober and drive home. Or, alternatively, wait an hour or more for a cab.

I hate how you automatically log in it takes forever to click to your username it also freezes and is automatically asking for location how Uber was a year ago even two years ago was perfect. IF IT ANIT BROKEN DONT FIX ITTTTT. I hate using Uber now!!!!!

The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

F this stupid app!! I took a pool ride to get to work which was a mile away. After picking me up this thing decides to go pick someone else up who is not even in the direction of the trip!! So it takes me further away which makes no effing sense because we are driving away from the destination instead of towards it! Yes I know with pool u share a ride but this was absolutely ridiculous!! It picked someone else up who wasnt even in route to the destination. A 4 min ride ended up to a 30 min one! I was late to work and got written up! F this app! Use Lyft!

I was in an uber pool yesterday, and the drivers app stopped working and said I wasnt in the car with him. My app still said I was though. He had to go pick someone else up, and it turned out she was going 30 min in the opposite direction. While we sitting trying to figure out what to do, he had to go pick up two more people. Still further in the opposite direction. The driver decided that I should just get out of the car and request a new ride, so he kicked me out on a sketchy street corner. I knew he felt bad, but he said that if he took me home without the app working, Uber would get mad at him. So here I was on a scary street corner, being harassed by homeless men at 9pm, and further from where I was going then when I got the I ride. And I had to wait 10 min for another Uber. They refunded by $7.50 trip, but I also asked for compensation in the form of a credit for rides, which they did not give. A couple years ago, their customer service was much better. I guess Ill be switching to Lyft now.

Was great until they decided to require location services to always be on. The only reason to do this is to gather data to track us then sell the data for unknown reasons. Shady as hell. Plus the last ride I got was from a tweaker lady missing all her teeth an extremely high. Car was disgusting. Shame on you uber

This update removes the option to only use location services while the app is open. If you want to use the app, you have to let Uber track you wherever you go and kill your battery in the process. Lame!

Scheduled pickup for the next day to take me to the airport. 5 minutes before pickup, I got a payment failure and had to find a ride to the airport in a huge hurry. My Paypal was tied into Uber. Not sure what youre problem is with PayPal but I cant have something unreliable for transportation to airport. Ill use something else.

I was a first time user for Uber, But I recently changed my phone number to a new one and I guess someone had previously used Uber with this new phone number. Uber in turn has failed to honor my referrals and promotions, it is useless now.

If you brought back the flat fare passes I would have it at a 5.

They raise rates when there is a disaster in an area. They treat their employees terribly. The owners a bunch weasels.

#DeleteUber a while ago uber wanted your contact list so they could send your mom and dad "special offers". then they took away your ability to selectively share your location. now they want your calendar. also: they intentionally and consciously do business with a nation that supports terrorism. uber accepted a $3.5 billion (with a B) investment from sauri arabia. conscience, what social conscience? ditch em. lest their new business partners morals rub off on them and they execute you for being a woman or LGBTQ or otherwise not their "normal". The worst customer service experience Ive ever had. Incredibly frustrating when you learn that they dont actually read your well-thought-out emails . So disappointed

The new version makes it more and more difficult to see the prices. Surge pricing is always on, so you will always pay more than a normal taxi. The new app doesnt even allow you to select the exact pick up point. It automatically suggests a nearby road to meet the driver. This is ridiculous... The drivers are inexperienced as well as rude. I have used uber for the past 2 years and have now moved to its competitors. I would advise you all to do the same!!!!!

My friend and I took an Uber and the driver abruptly turned off our route when she saw a police officer. She circled around and made our 8-minute ride a 30-minute ride and told us she didnt have proper licensing. Uber charged me the full 30-minute far of $18 instead of $9. I demanded a full refund and voiced my concerns relentlessly. They gave me the $9 fare due to "driver GPS" issues. Im here to let you know that it was no error. It was the driver scaring the hell out of us and eluding law enforcement. I paid $9 on vacation to elude the police and fear for my life. F Uber.

Uber has only been going downhill in the last few months, horrible drivers with no regard for the rules of the road, drivers cancelling rides a few seconds before pickup even though they call to say where and when to meet them right before, dirty cars and so on. Use lyft whenever you can, would give 0 stars if it were possible.

Use Lyft instead. They support their communities, they add value, and they dont I cate your privacy by tracking your every move even when not using the app

I have had this issue happen 4 times now! These drivers are so money hungry they accept fares only to turn around to cancel them. Its very frustrating. I have complained to Uber directly but only ever get a "can" email response. The actual issue is never addressed. Yesterday I requested an uber for the driver to call me immediately to say can you cancel I havent eaten lunch yet. I said no you cancel she told me no and hung up on me. Very rude. I tried to call back and she sent me to voicemail. I did cancel and only had me friend to request the uber and the same thing happened to her the driver says its too far and he wouldnt make any money. Im done with uber - going back to taxis and private cars.

I deleted uber too much fare increasement . I took the normal cab and I saved 40€
