Can we get and option to choose the Uber cause most Uber are Spanish in Miami and its be good if I can select a Uber driver that speak my language

Too much, far too many price surges!!

The greed is overcoming this Silicon Valley startup. What was once an innovative service company is now becoming a greedy bunch of people who only have bottom line in their minds. The price surges due to "unusually high demand", especially if you live in a big city is almost ALL THE TIME. Uber is not just ripping off its passengers but also ripping off the drivers. Ive noticed drivers canceling on me more frequently than it happened before, its like they dont even care anymore now, and fair to understand "why would they?". I have been using Uber and Lyft almost together from the same time and Lyft far surpasses in every aspect. My business from now on would go to Lyft.

Our Uber was fine, the only complaint from me is the driver was wearing too much cologne. Drivers should be aware that fares may have allergies to cologne and stronger fragrances. Otherwise, no problem.

New version is terrible

Generally a fan of uber, but the new version has broken fare splits. They dont let you choose your payment method on splits, and the app no longer lets you choose your default. The app is setting Apple Pay as my default and Apple Pay isnt supported for fare splits. And there is no way to remove Apple Pay. Tried dealing with their support people and they are absolutely idiots.

$20 coupon: "UBER-7UE"

If you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon "UBER-7UE" and get $20 off your first ride!!! Seriously!! Enter it right before you request a ride in the promotions tab. Might as well try it out since it likely wont cost you a thing!!! The app is easy to use and intuitive, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make/model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button!!! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away, and price is usually the cheapest.

Watch if for shifty business practices

We had a gift card to use and selected it from the very beginning of the trip. The app messed up somehow and afterwards it claimed I had an outstanding balance and forced me to use my credit card (no gift card choice given). When I contacted customer support, they have no ability to affect a gift card balance after the fact.

Needs upgrade & changes

The Navigation system is horrible. Sends us to the wrong places to pick people up many times. Makes us look bad at times. The map also makes us go around in circles or take the long way to the riders destination. Its also unfair to arrive at a location or be half way there and get a cancellation without getting paid. We also need to add rider profile pictures to protect us from who were picking up. Just a name or confirming a name is not enough. Also, include rider tipping to increase our chances of earning more. I dont see the purpose of the braking and acceleration report.

Boycott

Uber corporation is overall bad, their practice, how they treat employees & contractors. I noticed the driver are upset most of the time. Thats why I switch to Lyft.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD

I tried ordering an uber right now, and it said 8min away when its been 12min. I was late to a meeting because of it, i think this is stupid that they cant read directions. Uber is no good and I recommend lyft, i tried it and wow was I impressed. But uber do not get it, they steal your money cause after making me late i was still charged $5!!!

App will not let me verify payment. Every time I try the page is blank. So I literally cant use this app ?

Inaccurate pickup location

The last 4 times I used uber, the app sent the driver 2-4 miles away from the pinned pickup location. The pin is saved on the app, its my home address, I use uber to get to work. I guess the app forgets saved info. I was late twice, no more. Im going Lyft from now ?

Uber more like Loser... yah I went there

Ubers customer service is terrible. No matter how high your rating or how clean your reputation is they will side with the driver. Had a bad experience, app difficulties, or want a refund? Not doable. Ubers customer service is insultingly prepared to make you actually pull out your hair. Im bald now. I mean part of that is hereditary but I blame Ubers customer service too. All kidding aside theyre really not on your side as drivers. Choose lyft. Theyll be more accommodating.

Right wing company who exploits workers with a CEO who doesnt care about their welfare. Bad service. Rude drivers

Unusable

I couldnt get through account creation. It kept taking me back to the password screen. Tried multiple passwords. No Uber for me I guess...

Fees for nothing

Quite apart from the deplorable politics, theres the fact that Uber provides poor service. Twice in a row Ive been charged unwarranted fees, most recently $22 because my driver didnt pick me up. I dont get how they stay in business. Im out.

Always on location prevents me from using

Had to delete because I dont allow apps that are "always" tracking your location
