A lot of the drivers who work for Uber are great and my complaint is not against them - it is against whoever directly works for them on the non-driving side. The drivers are consistently going in circles because the maps dont seem to work. Ive even been in Ubers where people Ive been pooling with, ask the driver to leave them blocks away from where they live/are supposed to go because they dont want to keep going in circles. I have been charged cancellation fees for trips I have not cancelled or taken, and it is not because the drivers have had to "wait for me"..they literally have not arrived and I still have been charged by Uber besides this. They dont seem to care about their customers. I will start taking Lyft, even if it means paying more because theyre less marketed. The point is...I dont like being scammed and if Im going to pay a certain price, I better get the service I am paying for. I have never written a complaint, but Uber is one of those companies that really needs to get it together.
