Ive been trying to purchase for a ride and it keeps declining saying my billing info is invalid when its correct and also a terrible customer service. Bye
This company is terrible.They charge you for ridiculous things and then their policies dont allow you to receive refunds only credits. Lfyt is way better and if you have T-Mobile they give you have credit towards your rides every Tuesday.
Seems like because the drivers are making less money than before they feel its alright to make random charges for literally nothing. This "company" is going down the drain.
Very laid back people and a good time. Never had any problems with the app and the people are always very courteous. I always use this app if I need to get home fast and dont have bus money or the bus is unavailable or theres bad weather. I dont have many apps, but this is one of them.
The customer service team has gone way downhill and is atrocious. They own up to nothing and at most give you a 5 dollar credit. Horrendous. Uber has gone way downhill.
Stupid version, always cant see the schedule ride icon. It showed one time after re-opened many times, but pick up location was unavailable.
Im the past Ive given this app 5 stars. Cheap rides were amazing in the past, and most regular uber rides are still decent. However uberpool has become aggressive and penny pinching. I cant cancel rides where my driver is taking twice the predicted ride to show up, and they still take me to pick up and drop off multiple riders on route even though they already made me late and are making me even later. It can be seen on the uber app that rides are making me later for my events. They know what theyre doing but they dont care. When uberpool first came out, it was relatively direct, they didnt take you for bad roundabout pickups, and they let you cancel if your driver is late. I may still have to use this app under some circumstances for lack of alternatives, but I will be avoiding it where I can.
Driver support is horrible. On par with Comcast.

Had a driver go a much longer route than needed and I ended up being charged 50% extra. Uber didnt do jack.
Fix your maps Uber!!! Your stupid app keeps sending drivers to the wrong address and then charges me a $5 cancellation fee. With all those billions in the bank you would think that you have the budget to fix this!

Uber is simply not what it used to be. The app no longer shows when Surge Pricing is in effect. You are essentially quoted a different price for the same route every time. Its like black magic. No consistency or transparency. Ubers drivers have been complaining to me about their dropping pay, and urging me to try alternatives like Juno. In the last year, whenever Id request a ride, there was roughly a 50/50 chance that the driver would actually show up, as many drivers (upon being hailed through he app) would drive in a direction away from my pick up location. I later learned that this is a form of protest from Uber drivers in response to their dropping pay. By driving away from your pick up location, they would leave the passenger stranded, forcing he to cancel the ride, which would then yield a small payment to the driver. Ubers cars are also not what they used to be. Youd normally get a newer model vehicle thats clean. In the last year, more and more of their vehicles have been neglected and drivers have been more and more unhappy. Last but not least, after deciding to write this review here on the App Store, Ive noticed duplicate 5-star reviews by users with random alphanumeric usernames praising Uber and offering coupon codes. These are word-for-word duplicates no doubt designed to raise this apps freefall rating. Best of luck Uber. Ive since decided to spend my money on better alternatives.
Its come to be always a problem some drivers just drive around and the say already pick u up so u pay for a ride never happen and dont talk about the waste of time.

The built-in navigation feature routinely takes significantly longer than Google Maps or Waze directions to the same location, resulting in higher fares from drivers who do not use third party navigation apps. Asinine.
Theyre beholden by no laws and no moral code. Customer service is a misnomer as they are only there to deflect and close the ticket out as quickly as possible. Monopoly market share has them sitting on a pretty high perch but I suspect that once the industry matures and viable alternatives are available that $60 billion valuation will come tumbling down like the ornate sand castle that it is. Screwing your customers and the contractors who interact with those customers is not a sustainable business model. I keep my account open due to necessity, not because I am pleased with their business. As the ratings show there are a lot of people just as displeased as I am. The day when they close shop, I will smile broadly in smug satisfaction. Of course they could change the company culture and become a great company, but this seems unlikely by all accounts so I wish them the worst and their competitors the best.
Lately the app has a very annoying glitch. When I request a ride I get notified from Amex that I have been charged so I know a ride is on the way. Unfortunately, the app returns a "failed" message and doesnt show the ride or info until I restart the phone. This is really a pain.
