I can use it good before, but after I updated it, it became strange. I cannot pay it successfully even I change the other card. It is the first time that I was worry because I cannot use money
Uber is most afraid of loosing its ecosystem on the rider side, and more so on the driver side. Just come up ways uber drivers wouldnt want to use this app anymore... any thoughts guys?
Ive been ghosted by Uber drivers 3 minutes from pick up three times this month. Customer service just dodges the issue with canned email. Uber seems like more and and more of a crap shoot guided by serious bloatware of an app. Show some respect for the customer please.
I have had several problems with this company. The most recent one is when they charged me differently then the price I agreed to pay for. I only became aware of it because Apple Pay sends me a notification when ever my card has been used. On my screen it appears that I was charged initially when I placed the order(normal) and immediately after when I stepped out the vehicle at a much higher rate (3X the original amount). I checked the uber app to find that they replaced the initial value with a higher value for the trip without letting me know. I thought to leave it alone as it was the first time (that I know of), but then decided that if this was an app issue it might be happening to other users as well. Thats when I decided to email customer service to inform them of the issue and they were not very helpful instead very dismissive, and they did not reassured me that this will not happen again even when I asked directly. As I went back and forth with them for an answer I later noticed that every replied came from a different person. In the end I got a return and an apology, but I want you all to be careful of such nefarious behavior by this organization.
Ok I do not want a Uber credit of five dollars! I rarely use Uber. I would understand if I canceled this ride but the driver canceled the ride. I had to wait over 20 min for a driver to come get me and ended up having to walk 3 blocks to "hunt" down the driver (which was another Uber driver and not the driver that canceled), while pregnant with my five year old child!!! I do not want a 5 dollar UBER credit I want my money back!!! There was no reason for the driver to cancel after 5 mins! I was uptown and I guess the driver picked up someone else or something along that lines!! This company is unethical and money hungry!!!
Every day is harder to make money. If all the drivers stop picking up people Uber would do something. Im going back to my 9-5pm soon. Uber is a bad company, they dont care about people. Uber passengers are getting really bad ratings from drivers that doesnt receive tip. My hard work, driving experience and comfort of my car isnt equal to what Im making. Solution:?: 1-Reduce the commission % Uber take from drivers. 2-Include tipping. 3-Pay for my gas. Its RIDICULOUS the Uber gas card that we have now. Less than 1$ in saving every time you fill.
Uber fares are good a lot better than taxis, but give your drivers a fair split of the fare, drivers should get 70-80% of the fare not 50% thats unfair oh and please add a tipping feature, thanks!!!
I am blind and use Uber all the time it has really allowed me the flexibility to go where I need to go when I need to go. There are a few issues related with voiceover and accessibility but aside from the minor problems it works great
Been using this app with no issues for a year. This week, I missed 2 pickups because they use "pickup location" instead of my location. What is the point of having my location ALL THE TIME if you cant find me!!!?!?!! Bye Uber....
Every time I request a ride I have to text the driver special instruction to get to my front gate entrance because the route uber takes them is completely wrong. More than half the time they dont read it so they end up calling me! If uber made a simple section for comments I wouldnt have to deal with this EVERY SINGLE TIME
They charged me twice a cancellation fee that wasnt supposed to be because it was completely the drivers fault.
Please bring back the option for location services only used while using the app. Its creepy that you want it all the time? Why? You want to sell that information about me?
After 3 attempts to request a ride with the app crashing, I downloaded Lyft and booked a ride within 1 minute.
I asked to be dropped off at a car rental. Instead, the app inappropriately dropped me off in the ghetto in NYC. When I asked for a refund, they refused to take responsibility and said I needed to compensate the driver for their time. Use lyft or yellow cab instead.
Im sorry but your customer service is awful!!! Banned me from using uber because people who had relations to my account ( use the same credit card in their account at some point ) have outstanding fees. Fix the fees and my account still doesnt work. Complete bs and theres no phone number to call a competent manager to resolve this. Guess you just lost my business as well as my friends and family.
Miss the old version. You dont always need to know my location. Please add back "while using the app".
Location always on. Kills battery. Setting should be from "Always" to "While in use". Please FIX!!!!!
I was charged 59€ instead of 40€ when I used this app in Paris. The cancellation fee is two euros even if you just simply click by mistake and return in one second. Very unfriendly app. I will never use it again.
Why do they need to access my location even when not using the app. Why are None of my credit cards accepted anymore? Why do they keep trying to shove Uber eats down my throats which, surprise surprise also does not accept my cards. What were you guys thinking.
