Awesome, fast, super simple, safe payment, economic, I see a lot of bad reviews, Im from PR, and havent seen any problem with these comanpy neither do me and neither my social and close friends. Best way to travel!

Uber got hacked!

Uber got hacked and I had fraudulent charges on my account that was incredibly difficult to remove since Uber doesnt have a phone number. Do not us Uber unless you want your credit card hacked.

Horrible App. and even worse online customer service support

I am new to Uber (less than a week in) and I have had nothing but troubles. I was given a Uber gift card. One online rep. tells me the system is have technical problems/issues with supporting the gift cards, a few messages later Im told the issue has been fixed and the Uber gift card "can be used as sole means of payment" After hours of trying to schedule my first ride I end up needed to add my debit card and the first ride comes out of my bank account NOT the Uber gift card. The driver arrives that day to the complex across the street and I get hit with a $5 fee for "not be outside 5mins before" How would the driver know if I was outside or not if he was at the wrong place. So I go in to add my unit number (its been added at least a dozen times) but the online site will not maintain my updates. This a community filled with apartments and condos. Day 2s ride. I schedule my rides the night before being I need to be to work by 4am and give myself 30mins to arrive for a 15-20min ride. I get a message at 3:30am stating that my ride has been cancelled being "Uber does not accept Uber gift cards" Note: The gift card was bought directly from the Uber site. After countless emails, hours online trying to get Day 3s ride I have decided I will be taking this concern to The BBB as I realize 1. all gift cards are non-refundable 2. There is no live person to speak with 3. The online support gives misleading information 4. Customer service online telling me that my gift card was added and to "rest assure your alternative payment will NOT be used as payment it WILL only come from the Uber gift card" only to be charged on it twice. 5. I asked for a manager or supervisor follow up within 48 business hours and have heard nothing as of yet. Oh and what an invasion of our privacy...Bye Uber! I would advice NOT USING UBER! -0 stars for Uber. Very disappointed in this company. Once this gift card is up I will give Lyft a try!

Why you idiots need my location all the time! Shameless app.

Best customer service!

Ive had two incidents where I was overcharged by the driver and customer service refunded me within an hour of my email. Cant get much better than that! Because of this I am loyal to uber as my main transportation app.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

FIRST OFF, I loved uber when they had flat rates. I was a loyal uber user, I mustve spent over 3,000$ all together with uber. There has been a couple of bad experience and one the uber driver had went on his own trip to a little gas station to get some snacks and I demanded a refund and contacted support. However they refused to refund me the money and continued to try and argue with me so I told them I was going to go use Lyft and they decided to block me from using uber after I told them to delete my account.

Tracks location ALWAYS!

This is nuts wants my location always. Not cool. 1 star until fixed. Otherwise Lyft. Almost same price.

Hidden fees and a waste of money!

If I could I would give this a negative 5 stars. I got an Uber car for an initial price of $15 to take me back to my hotel. Later I found out I was charged $15 and an additional $21 making my total short time $36. Dont waste your time. I rather ride a taxi, just pay cash and not have to deal with this. The contacted the company who stated the charges are correct due to the busy time. Not helpful at all.

Deceptive Pricing Tactics

My last 2 rides have been grossly over the reasonable price estimates the app has given me before I order my rides. Last week I ordered a 7 minute ride with a $12 estimate, it ended up being $24 for some inexplicable reason that Uber couldnt properly explain to me. Today I ordered a 15 minute ride on a $14 estimate, they ended up charging me $31, once again without being able to provide an explanation. Ill be using Lyft from now on.

Unreasonable demand for my location data

With my iPhone Lyft app, I can allow Lyft to know my location "always," "while using the app," or "never." The clear best choice for me is "while using the app," since I dont want Lyft to be able to know everywhere Ive ever been. But with Uber, my only choices are "always" and "never." I dont like either choice.

Way Too Big And Invasive

This app is way bigger than it needs to be, and not giving the option to have location services only while using the app is unnecessarily invasive. A poor app from a disgraceful company.

Useless

Uber never accepts any form of payment that I put in. Its always "request failed" or "this form of payment is unavailable." This app is useless. Dont even waste your time.

I have no ethics

The app works for me. Can care less how much the driver makes, just get me where I need to go.

Ridiculous

Therell be drivers 2 minutes away from your location but it matches you to someone who is at least 8-10 minutes away then charge you for cancelling.
