0/10. Split fare with my friend, he payed half and I paid full and customer service replied with a period. Just a period.

Yall need to stop hiring anybody. Hire people who are convenient and helpful and not just cancel after waiting.
Even though I probably wont ever use this I have respect they had a short ad on YouTube that I could skip some ads are 30 seconds long and I cant skip
For someone who has to be at work before 6am the prices are ridiculous. $33-$40 dollars just to get to work which normally cost $10-$11?! Thats unfair and not cool. Itll be 5:30am and the cost will be $33 to get to work and it shouldnt be that way, It should be affordable. So to get an affordable price I have to work around 5am on the dot and be at work a whole hour early? Not cool...
They take ur money and then if u have an issue... u have to send an email!!! U cant call... so u ha e to wait until they feel like responding..I am still waiting for them to respond to me...
Its ridiculous and invasive to need my location even when Im not using the app. Change the settings to back how it was.
Uber is a great concept and the rides are better and cheaper than ?. Also you can get a FREE ride with promocode: irtazar To get a FREE UberEATS delivery instead use promocode: eats-irtazar
guys, after the last update I cannot rate (review) my driver from the app, I must log via browser...also, I cannot move my location on the map anymore by dragging my position Uber, I am a constant client but get your act together, put more effort and care into the app am using an iPhone 6 with iOS 10.3.2
The gps its never accurate and always takes longer that what the app says.
Id like to add to the review below that Ive been comparing Uber fares under their upfront pricing to Lyft and Uber is always higher. Uber its now charging riders a higher fare than they are using to pay drivers. One more reason to hate this company. Also - if you do use Uber just turn off the location tracking and manually enter your pickup location. Dont let them track you all the time and eat up your battery! ___________ Used Uber for years. Sick of their attitude towards drivers, women, governments, paying taxes, etc. Ive noticed the drivers are unhappy, and that really bothers me. I dont want to be driven around by someone who is getting a raw deal - that makes me complicit in their pain. No thanks. In my city, most of the drivers are on Lyft as well - so why not use that app? The drivers make more money by getting a higher share of the proceeds, and there is a tip line where you can tip in the app. Ive noticed the pricing is about the same and drivers tell me the surge pricing is a bit less, and over a narrower area, with Lyft. Better. Also, the latest version of the Uber app wants to track my location all the time - NO THANK YOU Uber. And it is way too much of a hassle to turn location tracking on and off each time. Using Lyft from now on.
Location tracking is all or nothing with Uber. Normal apps offer "track only when using", but Uber demands "Always track". If the past year has taught us anything, its "dont trust Uber to do the right thing". It looks like theyre not in a hurry to listen to customers complaints, since were at least six updates in since I started paying attention to the GPS issue. Partial workaround: disable GPS for the Uber app, and only turn it back on if you absolutely must use Uber. In the meantime Ive been using the friendly Uber competitor, and so far its worked like a charm. Thanks Uber, for encouraging me to check out other apps!
Called an uber this morning at 7:40am and the map showed the driver would arrive in 7 mins. That increased to 10 almost immediately but fine. I cant take that. The driver literally arrived almost 30 minutes later all the while the number just stayed the same. Then this afternoon, being pregnant and carrying a heavy bag, I figured I had no choice but to uber again. After one driver made turns in the opposite direction of me another one seemed to be closing in. I changed my location to make it an easier pick up and went to wait in the rain at 2 minutes. He made a wrong turn and the time went back up to 6. Now Im pregnant carrying a heavy bag and wet in the rain. AWFUL. Luckily caught a cab. Sticking to cabs from here on out.
I have taken Uber a hundred times over Lyft and though Ive loved all the people Ive met I can say Lyft as a company is much better hands down! Many times drivers would take a wrong route and cancel several minutes later and I never could cancel or get a refund for all my lost time. Today, as soon as the driver took the wrong route on Lyft I got an immediate notification saying they were pairing me with someone else with apologies. Thats customer service at its best! There have been many times when Uber drivers did not go to the correct apartment building and then cancelled and I was charged cancellation fees. When I explained it wasnt my fault they insisted on charging me the fee. I have been very disappointed with constantly changing fares and unscrupulous Uber customer service reps protecting the companies interest. Stick with Lyft for sure!
My account was hacked from a guy in Russia! He made a 40$ ride and now Im trying to get uber to contact me back to reimburse me!! This app is honestly the worst and they do not care about their riders.
Ive used uber many many times as well as uber eats and Im done. Ive had food never arrive twice now for uber eats and the uber apps are so glitchy and to top it off I went and got an uber gift card and when I went to scratch the cover off of the code it was unreadable. I contacted support and all they said was it was non refundable and they said issue resolved... done
I find myself save when I use uber
I used to live the convenience of Über. The app revolutionized travel. But with each recent update to the app, Über removes the brilliant features that made Über such a convenient and friendly service. The most recent change has made it nearly unusable for travel away from home. Über used to allow you to enter the name if your pickup location. This was particularly valuable when traveling and for situations where the GPS would identify your location incorrectly by as much as 50m / 150ft. In those cases, Über might think you were down the street or on a nearby street instead of at the entrance to your hotel. Now, Über gives you no option to enter the name of your pickup place, such as the name of a hotel or nearby business. When Uber asks you to confirm your pickup location, it gives you an address. In many cities around the world, addresses are not visible on the street, and if you are in the middle of a block, you might have no idea what the name of the street is (and in some cities, streets have two different official names). So if you are standing outside of the XYZ Hotel, and you dont know the street number or name, its kind of useless when Über tells you to meet your driver at ### Ave, especially since the GPS can be off by more than 100 feet in a crowded city street. Yesterday and today I tried six separate times o use Uber, and in every case, Uber gave me a pickup address I could not locate. In only one of those was there an identifiable reference point on the Uber map, and even then, the driver picked me up about 100 feet away from the confirmed pickup spot. I ended up getting a taxi for the other five trips, including one from the hotel this morning. In that case, I tried two separate times to get a pickup, and Uber asked me to confirm a pickup location in two different streets. Uber has also taken away important features that made the app incredibly useful. If you dont rate a driver before your next trip, you can only use the app to provide a rating for your most recent trip (or report an issue, or leave a comment, etc). If you want to leave a rating or feedback for an earlier trip, you have to use a browser and manually log into your account. The same is true if you want to contact support or report an issue with the app. The value and power of the app is that you can do everything you need in the app, and not have to switch to a different map to look up an address or your mobile devices browser to log into your account. I use Uber a lot for business travel, but lately, I have used it a lot less because its simply far less functional than it used to be. Maybe its time to check out Lyft?
This app is running slow and often hangs when I am trying to book an UberX or uber pool. Need to fix this glitch. I cannot book a ride
The location services are always on
Horrible decision by Uber to require I have location tracking turned on always. Be customer friendly, allow choice of location tracking only when using the App. I will not use Uber until they change this requirement. To many competitors for my business to treat customers with such arrogance. Everyone should avoid Uber until they fix this mess.
