I love this app, its easy to use and has great updates. I can always see where my driver is on the app and had no problem finding my ride. Lastly, Uber collaborates with other companies such as American Express and Capital One so I get plenty of discounts as a result.
I rely on Uber a lot!! People who complain about drivers need to leave their reviews to the drivers and not the app in general! Its amazing and gets you from point a to point b reliably and cheap! Amazing! I love Uber!
I feel like I was ripped off and scammed. I ordered a ride and canceled it within a minute of my order. The driver came anyway and insisted that hed wait for me till I was ready to head out. I told him I canceled the ride, as my screen on the app indicated. Nevertheless, he wanted to wait. He called me again and asked me to cancel the ride, but it was already canceled. When I walked downstairs there was no one there and I was charged $8.90. Either there was a technical difficulty or Uber scammed me. Regardless, I reported this incident twice, and they keep marking it as "resolved" but my money has not been returned. I dont recommend this company. Theyre more expensive than most quick transportation services and they do not respect their customers. Even 1 Star is too good for them. I live in Colorado by the way, not California, so this is an issue nationwide.
The app keeps telling me I am unable to order a ride and directs me to the help canter once there it only tells me I should pay any outstanding rides but I dont have any I dont know what else to do the app is horrible so is the service would not recommend to anyone I have gone to Lyft because UBER is just horrible
This is the worst. I order an Uber for a set price and then the drivers cancel and my price to reorder another ride almost doubles! How is that right?!?!!?

Asking for location "always" is egregious and a shameless poke at users privacy. If it aint broken dont fix it, as the saying goes. The new app is cumbersome to use. I dont always like putting the address before fetching the ride. Sometimes Im not going very far and prefer to just give instructions to the driver verbally. Sometimes I dont know the address but know how to get there. Anyway, I dont like the new update.
Used the app literally once, then fishy stuff starts happening. Signed up with my phone number, then used it for a ride. The next morning I have notifications in another language like Ive requested rides. I try to open my app, it asks for my number, then it tells me my number is already in use. Customer service tells me they dont see my number linked to an account. Dont know how thats possible, I took a ride and have my credit card transaction to prove it. May have gotten hacked. Anyhow, never using this again.
After my 2nd ride Uber suspended my account. i couldnt log in when I contacted support they told me I had an unpaid balance, which I dont know how I used my Apple Pay to request the ride like I did the 1st with no issue, and I needed to send my government Id in before they would let me log in and pay it. One of the early emails said the charge was almost double what the actual cost of the ride was. After they figure out the actual charge they opened my account and I had to add my PayPal which is linked to the same bank account my Apple Pay is, before they finally took the payment. I just wanted to make sure the driver was paid then I immediately deleted the app and asked for my account to be deleted I will not be using Uber again. Absolutely terrible experience
I will stop using your service until you change the settings for location services.
I downloaded the latest app and now it wont start if I have signed out of the app previously. Please fix!!!
Why does Uber need to know your location ALWAYS? Please, return "While using the App" GPS function. Why does Uber need to know all my contacts? Why does Uber need to know all my calendar information? Cant tip drivers in app.

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!
I re downloaded the app on my new phone and ordered an uber. The ride typically costs $8-12, but today the ride apparent was $23. No longer do you need to agree to surge pricing, its just simply included. When I sent a concern about the amount, I received a generic response, and never had my questions answered. Im done using Uber.
I had no problems with the app until I tried to arrange a ride to the airport a few days ago. I had to delete the app and re-install. Ive now had to do that twice to get a ride. I spoke to one of the drivers and he was having issues as well.
Location services is always on. No need for Uber to track everywhere you go 24/7. Great service but I hate having to turn location services on and off.
I used to think it was an AMAZING app until I told them to GIVE RAY A RIDE!!!????? I guess no free rides for my baby Ray????
