Downward Spiral

Uber has progressively gotten worse and worse over the past year. Drivers are terrible, cars are very old and extremely dirty, time estimates are always off. I will definitely be switching to Lyft. Dont waste your time with Uber, its not worth the download.

Dropped

I waited 40 minutes for a 10 minute pick up just to get dropped. And then I got another pool just to get dropped need to put more consideration on who they let be drivers

Account Hacked, no refund, no one to call

I woke up one morning in New York to find that someone had gotten a ride using my account in Philadelphia while I was asleep. When I brought this to Ubers attention, they failed to deliver a refund, look into the issue, or even give me a number to call. I cant have my debit card linked to a company that has an insecure service and doesnt care about the security of my account. Thank god they have numerous competitors.

Driver Loyalty

I was release as a driver in 2016 due to a background issue from 2003. My service from 2014-2016 has an avg. 4.85 rating. I was always courteous to my customers, offered snacks and water and accommodated their travel needs. Not one time did I get a complaint of professionalism during my 800+ trips. But because of the bad publicity Uber drivers received on the news in the past two years, they figured they would be safer dropping people with certain charges. Ive promoted their business to potential clients and drivers and this is the thanks I get. When I told them I lost their phone about a year ago, they still charged me weekly fees. OMG!!!

Uber Now Scams Customers

I feel like I was ripped off and scammed. I ordered a ride and canceled it within a minute of my order. The driver came anyway and insisted that hed wait for me till I was ready to head out. I told him I canceled the ride, as my screen on the app indicated. Nevertheless, he wanted to wait. He called me again and asked me to cancel the ride, but it was already canceled. When I walked downstairs there was no one there and I was charged $8.90. Either there was a technical difficulty or Uber scammed me. Regardless, I reported this incident twice, and they keep marking it as "resolved" but my money has not been returned. I dont recommend this company. Theyre more expensive than most quick transportation services and they do not respect their customers. Even 1 Star is too good for them.

Life saver

Locations Services Always On = Selling Users Data

Please bring back the option for location services only tinny used while using the app. Its creepy that you want t all the time? Why? You want to sell that informs about me?

The government is already invasive enough!!

The government is already invasive enough, you arent gonna track my whereabouts and get into my calendar

Location Services Fail

Must enable GPS access "always" now. Please bring back the old option for "while using." I just dont trust you enough and will stay with Lyft instead.

Unacceptable

19$ for a ride one minute, and the next 62$ for a ride to the same place. Unacceptable. Deleting the app.

Uber has become UBER shady.

When I began using Uber 2 months ago it was fine, until recently I had to update my credit card info. When I tried to put the new card in, Uber would not accept it. So when my driver picked me up I had to pay them in cash. I reported the issue to Uber and they told me they would fix it. Well, a few rides later the problem was still there and Uber kept charging me twice for rides. I guess a company with so many recent structural problems in there company has to cheat its current customers to make up for the ones theyre losing. First their CEO quits, then their self driving cars are flipping over. Get it together UBER!!!

Need a (tip) option

Your app need to come up with a tip option, I never carry cash with me and I would like to be able to tip the drivers

Removed User Rating

Looks like Uber has removed user ratings meaning you no longer can find or know what your star score is. Considering I like to try to keep mine high, Id like to know before and after each ride and now I cant see if a driver rated me low without reason.

Review

Uber is terrible! I was charged $150 extra for me ride for absolutely no reason. Uber did nothing to try and get the money back and there is no support system to help when something goes wrong. Just a terrible way to run an app.

First time. Seamless

I drank to much after working 16 hours. I knew was a bad idea to drive. Downloaded app and I was picked up in 3 minutes. Flawless.

over-charged

First off, we got charged 50+ for an uber ride for 8 miles in LUBBOCK. We also requested for an uber XL and only got an uber x, we had to fit 3 people in the trunk of an Mitsubishi, Will never use again. AND 200$ for a clean up fee that only costed 8$. Will never use again, deleted off my phone and will never look back. Do your self a favor and call a taxi. Horrible

Ive never been able to use Uber

Ive never been able to use this Uber application: the application says theres something wrong with my payment method (my debit card). The information is correct every time Ive tried to edit it, the application doesnt allow me to delete the method and adding a new method with the same information hasnt worked either. I just deleted the application altogether so I use Lyft now.

I been using this for couple years now. But I just got charged a fee of 5 because the driver could not find me . I was waiting in the corner and could not wait anymore !!! Thanks uber I will not use you anymore

Use LYFT

These guys charged me for a ride when I wasnt even in the vehicle!! Not good. Dont trust Uber. Ive had much better service with Lyft. Theyre the only way to go.
