Overall Uber is great. The only problem Ive really found is that everytime I make a payment. It takes both money off the gift card and my bank account. It also doesnt let you use the gift card unless you have a debit/credit card linked to your uber account. This has happened every time ive payed uber since Ive gotten the gift card. Ive emailed plenty of times and they have yet to fix the problem. Ive asked for a refund as well everytime because money on my bank account has been taken when its supposed to just charge the gift card and the full refund has yet to happen. It just happened again twice this week. Fix this please.

Stop tracking my location always. Uber does not need it. The app is bad now and does not open properly sometimes. Id like to see the ability to rate other customers that I share an uber pool with.

Not worth the money. They overcharge you and cant give you a valid reason as to why when they charge you more than the priced quoted to you. Their customers service is useless. They also send you false promotion codes that dont even work. The drivers horrible majority of the time. Youre better off spending less w/public transportation or driving yourself around

There are many roads in Houston you cannot take without an EZ Pass. This can double your travel time and increase your overall bill but Uber does not require drivers have this or give any option to request this. If you get a driver that doesnt have and cancel, they charge you $5.35 anyway. This service is fine to get you home from the local bar but its leagues away from being reliable replacement for professional service.

App works great no complaints here. Pool pricing should adjust based upon the amount of people picked up. A possible idea is give bonus credit to a single rider if ride picks up a double or two more people. They get inconvenienced a lot more algorithms be damned. Other possibility is increase the possible ride cost separation based upon likelihood of guaranteed riders so if you are a single first pickup you pay less or more if you are an only pickup.

I wish lyft was in my area , even my privacy is not my own why do you need my location when Im not on the app ...

Update your gps service. Every time I order a uber to my house when I select my house you always send them to the deadens street behind building which is a completely different street my I add than my address

This app takes long to load because theres to much loading on the main screen. Uber eats? Thats why you guys have a second app! Any additional information should be on the setting tab, the main screen should be quick and clutter free.

Oh look another fake update to delete the previous negative comments about privacy issues. Good old uber! I was trying to defend uber at first, but its clearly obvious that theyre making blank updates to clear the previous updates negative reviews. They should be banned for the Apple Store for making fake updates. Theyre scamming their users! Joke of a company.

Always on location tracking is unacceptable. Bring back the option for "while using." There is no justification to exclude this opinion. Listen to your customers and change this immediately.

Now Uber app wants access to your calendar so Uber can spy on all your appointments and calendar info, all in the guise of not having to manually copy and paste the occasional address into the app. No thanks! Uber took away the customers choice to allow tracking location only when using the app. Now Uber wants to always track your location even when youre not using the app. Your only choice now with Uber is to allow the app to always track your location (even when not using the app) or to never allow the app to track your location (app wont work properly). Fortunately, competition exists with Lyft and I will be using them as long as they give me the choice that Uber has now taken away from me.

Its been a real struggle to use lately, quite hard to figure out since the last major update especially in countries where you are not familiar with the streets near by or cannot read the street written in the local language I.e thai, you have no clue if its telling you its correct pick up location and destination, much easier when you could easily type in the address -- Now its cumbersome!

I put in my credit card information and requested an Uber to the airport. After 20 minutes of futzing around with the app, Uber kept on trying to use Apple Pay no matter what I did and I never made it to the airport using Uber.

I wish I could give it zero stars. Uber wants to track me all the time? No way!

I love the app. Is there a way too put a address instead of having the pin determine where you are? If not, it should be implemented
