Have not used Uber ride service a lot but for the times that we have, the overall experience has been great. Nice, clean comfortable vehicles & well dressed drivers with professional etiquette. Rates are overall better than a cab, no extra for sitting in traffic. Never waited more than 6 minutes for a ride, no cash required as payment is by credit card only after you set up with Uber. Good-bye cabbies!

You have no options to deal with issues. They IGNORE COMPLAINT even for their most profitable customers.

Oh look another fake update to delete the previous negative comments about privacy issues. Good old uber! I was trying to defend uber at first, but its clearly obvious that theyre making blank updates to clear the previous updates negative reviews. They should be banned for the Apple Store for making fake updates. Theyre scamming their users! Joke of a company.

I dont understand why i cant use location service only while using the app. Its such a simple request.

The most recent Uber updates require that you allow them to track your location - even when youre not using Uber. No. Just... no. Deleted app. Using Lyft now.

Uber has been in a downward spiral and has lost my trust. The extended location tracking in the recent versions is unacceptable— and now they want access to your calendar, too. Forget it. Worst of all, they have *removed* the option to use iOSs native privacy controls to allow location tracking only while using the app. Im switching to Lyft, at least until that feature is restored. Also, Im no longer able to rate drivers, since after turning off location tracking theres a nag screen every time one opens or returns to the app, and that nag screen blocks the page where typically one would rate the driver right after a trip (dismissing the nag screen also dismissed the rating screen, which is a major design flaw). Uber has officially gone from hit-and-miss to terrible. And, on top of that, now Uber wants access to your contacts as well as your location. Pass.

The drivers are so angry with Ubers management (and rightfully so) that the service has gotten terrible -was waiting for a driver, only to be canceled on after about 10 minutes, a couple times in the past month. Use Juno/Gett/Via/Lyft as alternatives

I am constantly disappointed by this ap. It estimates that my driver will be here in 3-5 minutes, the it takes 15 for the driver to show up. The driver either had a drop off someone else, or were going the wrong direction, either way the estimates are not even CLOSE to accurate. Please bring back the option of using location only when using the app. Its annoying and very inconvenient to turn it on when calling for uber and turning it off once Im in the ride ?

Uber is much more faster than regular cabs, and is more personal than p.transportation. Love it!

These clowns update 80MB app weekly without change log. If youre on metered 3G or 4G I suggest to turn off updates for Uber.

No need to always have location services on

For a while Uber literally had the best product. But lyft has caught up. Scandal after scandal, people quitting, not tipping drivers, and general disdain to their workforce...how can I support boober and project blue balls?? And now they steal tech from other company. This company has no ethics, why should I believe they are acting in my best interest.
