Still sticking to their tracking, nothing has changed. It will get a high review again when location services can be set to "When Using App." There is no need for Uber to always know my location and who can trust them nowadays anyway??? Lyft in a great alternative and I dont have to worry about my privacy.

Grab has rewards for every ride booked on their app. As much as i want to use grab, i cant because they have no student discount. So i use uber instead. I would like uber to have rewards for every ride booked:) that would be a better idea:) and also please be accurate in terms of maps and status of the car because sometimes the car doesnt move but the driver tells me that he is already in the pick up point :(

The epitome of male frat douchebag thinking and worse... run by corrupt, vile sociopaths who will stop at nothing (even put murder self driving cars on the road without ensuring such is legal and most important safe to other drivers, pedestrians, etc) to try and be seen in history as changing the world. No KalaDick your history will be you were just a sociopathic d$$k. May Uber burn and KalaDick only hold the ashes of its remnants!

I dont trust you to use my location while not using the app. Having to go into the settings to turn location on before my ride and off after is too burdensome. Using Lyft now.

I will not be using this app anymore; because I declined letting it keep tracking my location even while I am not using the app, it is now next to useless. Good thing I still have Lyft installed, because with Uber there is not even an option in the privacy tab on the phones settings for tracking location "Only while using", like there is for other apps (Including Lyft).

Theyll charge your card random amounts even though you only took one trip. I took a couple trips over a week. The total for one was $20 but they charged my card $20, $15, and $12. They did this again last week. Uber drivers will also cancel rides and YOU get charged.

Thank you Uber for continuing to be such a wonderful alternative to the old school taxi system! Love the new versions and had again a great drive with a super nice driver. Keep it up! :)

The new version makes it more and more difficult to see the prices. Surge pricing is always on, so you will always pay more than a normal taxi. The new app doesnt even allow you to select the exact pick up point. It automatically suggests a nearby road to meet the driver. This is ridiculous... The drivers are inexperienced as well as rude. I have used uber for the past 2 years and have now moved to its competitors. I would advise you all to do the same!!!!

Can no longer choose option "only while using app" for location tracking. Uber is a great service, but this is an unacceptable trade off. While I appreciate that they think keeping location tracking on for 5 minutes after the ride ends (though a "bug" could now keep it on indefinitely), I prefer to keep my privacy intact. Some riders may not care about this, but Uber should allow the rider to choose what amount of privacy theyre willing to fork over.

Why do you need to access my location all the time? This is an invasion of privacy. And stop updating every 3 days we all know youre just trying to get rid of the bad reviews.

I used to love Uber, especially how easy & clean the Application used to be. Now, its quite confusing & unclear. I started using lyft, which looks identical to the old Uber before all these massive updates. Ill be sticking to lyft for now on.

Lyft is so much cheaper tbh like yeah it might take a minute or 2 longer for a pickup cus I dont think its as popular as uber but its worth it just schedule ur rides earlier! Anyways I honestly use uber to get from highschool to a mall like 2km away and normally it costs like 5.50 but its been going up to like 6:50 or 6.80 almost 7$!! And NO its not a surge price because those raise it to like 8$ but everyday it changes and its annoying , i dont go far so I always get charged the minimum fare but they keep increasing it! Not worth it and I hear lyft pays its drivers a lot more $$

Shady behavior internally and externally. They think the rules dont apply to them. They scam their drivers and steal their customers data with no respect for privacy.

Uber has dropped the ball big time on quality, branding, treatment of employees & drivers.

Too frequent updates just waste memory. Will be uninstalling soon because I simply dont have infinite space on my phone.

Old app was simple and efficient. New app is very bloated and crowded with lots of inessential information. Confusing to choose ride type compared to flow in old UX. #productteamfail
