Lyft allows me to tip the driver within the app why dont you guys! Once in a while I have met very nice and helpful drivers that I think deserve a tip . Please take in consideration.

I can no longer log in, which means I cant rate drivers. Get "Too many requests error." I uninstalled and reinstalled, no change. Periodically I try to get an Uber and none are available and then a minute later there are 10. Noticeable performance and quality decrease since about two weeks ago.

The CEO is a sneaky scum. Im going to maintain the app just to keep maintaining the 1-star review until they return the option back to track us only when using the app. If you decide to use uber, disable location and type the address yourself. Drains less battery and gives you some privacy.

App will not load and all I get is blank screen. To just get 1 use of app I have to uninstall and reinstall app repeatedly. After I sign out and close app I have to uninstall and reinstall to use again. Please fix.

Always try tracking when not in use, contact driver "hidden" when it was easy to assist in pick up, application now bloated. Less is more Uber!

To those complaining that the updates are too frequent and that it is taking too much memory, I say DUH...each update is a fresh install of the app! They dont just keep piling on top of each other ? dum dums. Also, the dude stating you cant tip in the app...wtH are you talking about?!? This has always been possible. Uber is great and so is Lyft! I like them both, very useful.

I had been a longterm Lyft user because I like being able to tip my drivers, but reinstalled uber on account of the new changes to the Amex Platinum. Im not sure its worth it if I am going to be tracked at all times.

Nope. You still dont need my location once I end my ride. Fail You want your stars back? Gives us back the option of "While Using"

Location tracking options are limited to Off or Always, bring back When Using App. I have to manually turn location privileges on and off when using the app. Uber has no business tracking my location when Im not using app.

This not uber company that it used to be, go for a walk better than requesting uber car. They fail the good service and promo codes that they put is a lie. Your company is going to fail. And you will lose customers. I hope that you care

The in app support is probably the worst out of any company I have ever dealt with. When you reach out for help, you explain your story then the next person who respond is a new person. So youre constantly reiterating your problem. (They even ask the customer to send screen shots of previous conversations instead of just looking it up themselves.) they offer some promotions but then do not honor their side of the deal. Honestly the worst customer service

If I order a uber DONT let anyone pick me up if it says 5+ minutes!!! 5 minutes or less.... PERIOD!! And yall need to update the navigation system bc they pick and drop off at the WRONG location.??

The app says there are cars 3 min away from me. Then, when I order the ride it fetches the fastest car available and I have to wait 12 min. Come on Uber, get it together! I dont care how long it takes, just give me an accurate estimate!

Uber charges cancellation fees if their drivers cancel on you. Not sure how you can trust a company that does this. My driver never arrived; I watched him on the tracking as he drove farther and farther away from me. Then I received a notice that he canceled the trip. (Im sssuming because he didnt want to drive the distance I was requesting.) Then I received a notice that I was being charged for it. Contacting Support only resulted in canned responses that this situation fell under their 3 appropriate reasons for cancelation fees (it didnt). Terrible way to treat your customers. I deleted the app.

For some reason the uber app requires your location to be shared at all times. I guess maybe this is a bug or something since obviously they only really need your location when using the app. Uber isnt exactly the most ethical company, so you know theyre using all that data and selling it to anyone. One star and sticking to Lyft until they fix this.

First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

It all started so well. Uber was the Apple of transportation. But as a saying goes, the one that covers a lot, does not squeeze. The image of the driver good dress and cute car was lost. You can not maintain a good image if you pay misery to your contractors. They will make you look bad. And of course it will be your fault. Uber is no longer the Apple of transportation, it is now a unnamed Chinese company that sacrifices quality by quantity.

Original review: Uber still has not reversed their decision to always require your location. In the past they didnt do this, Lyft does not do this. You can only choose between never allow Uber to access your location or never (not only while using the app, like Lyft). Shady.

Cant understand why it always shows the driver a different street number than the one appointed by me. I write down 196 and it sends the driver to 195. Why? Please help! I love everything else about Uber. Thanks! Keep up the good work.
