I like uber is the best app for anyone but I have a problem with the app

Hey I have a problem with the uber app about my payment I dont know with but I cannot login my credit card in the app please help me with that and this happen to with my number phone please help me with that thanks.

20 min pick up!

My driver was 5 min away. Cancelled, and gave me a driver 20 min away. Fix this glitch. The driver told me it said 2 min then jumped to 17 Going to Lyft till I get an update

NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE.

I used to take taxi all the time, then I switched to uber it was all great. Lately its been very annoying. Drivers would pretend like they dont know where theyre going, taking the wrong turns. Surge is on way too often now a days. Surge charge more than before.

Scheduling fails in CR

Scheduling rides appears to be unsupported in Costa Rica, but the option is there. We have scheduled rides to the airport and no one ever shows up. Like we love missing our trips. Aside from that, everything else has worked just fine.

Sneaky sneaky uber!

OMG so I thought it was just my app that was acting weird, I even deleted it and downloaded it again, but after reading these other reviews its obvious uber is just pulling a fast one. They completely changed their system with this latest app version. I have been using Uber for the last two years religiously, but the last two weeks its been god awful! They no longer show you when a ride is inflated so your prices jump up out of nowhere, even after you order. A driver will cancel on you then boom an inflated rate comes up next! Or the app keeps saying there are no cars available, then would send a car without notifying me, drivers press no show and I keep getting charged an extra $5 not even knowing there was a driver waiting for me! Which FYI they do not refund, they give you a "credit." This has happened numerous times this week. Uber go back to your old version or Im officially switching to Lyft! Your service was so reliable before, its too much of a hassle now and keeps making me late.

Disappointing

Wouldnt take my two payment options and then when I tried to fix it on the website I kept getting jacked around. Bye uber, hello lyft. Uber app deleted.

Stay away

Very horrible customer service and they take money from right under your nose. They cancel rides on you and its not a very good business. They took $150 out of my account for cleaning which I cleaned myself at 3 in the morning and I feel very unappreciated and taking advantage of. Greed is a terrible thing!!!

I wish I can give negative stars. Take lyft instead

Uber used to be so good but within the last couple of months their choice in drivers has gone down and their customer support has become completely atrocious. Today I got charged for a trip I didnt even take. The driver was incredibly rude. Said he would pick me up, never did. I see hes halfway through the trip and I try calling him. He yells "where are you??" And I said I was still in the parking lot of the requested address. He said to stop calling this number and hung up. After that he rejected all my calls. When I contacted Uber support they said "due to my account history" they couldnt refund me the money. When I asked for documentation about it, they couldnt provide it. I sent them screenshots of my location TIMESTAMPED. Clear evidence that I wasnt on the trip. They didnt even acknowledge it and kept sending me the same canned response. I was determined though and kept asking to speak to a supervisor and eventually they said "we will not see eye to eye and are closing this discussion." How absurd. Its not even the money at his point its the principle. Uber just STOLE money from me and didnt do anything about it. Do you want this kind of treatment? Do you want Uber to take your money and do nothing about it? Do you want to arrive late to where youre going and get completely frustrated about it? Then sure, install the app. If not, take lyft. Anything really is better than this garbage. Public transportation is much better.

It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Buggy big time

I upgraded to iPhone 7 and it needs to send me a text. I did 30 times it sends nothing and the app is useless with it.

No longer a good ride choice.

Constantly having issues with uber double charging me for trips, promo codes not working, drivers driving away from me and me still being charged for the trips when they never arrive. Uber takes forever to refund you money that they wrongfully charge you even after they say itll only take a day or two, it takes a week or more. Your account can also be disabled for no reason and they fail to respond when you try to figure out whats wrong with the account.

FIX THIS APP

The app doesnt share the correct the location of the drivers any more. Sometimes, my driver had arrived but it shows the drivers was still 6 mins away on the map! And sometimes, the map shows the driver changes the route all the time and it is getting farther. But they actually did not!

There is no way to talk to head office on the app ! Also i search their website and there wasnt any phone number there ! What if any complain about driver or service ?!

Location Access

I will not be using Uber. As much as I love it, why did they get rid of the option to only allow location services while using the app. Now they have access to your phone all the time? No thanks I will be using Lyft.

Civil Rights Violation!

I was refused service on two occasions because I have a Service Dog. This company has already been fined for refusing service to the disabled and yet it still happens.

Still requires "always on" location services

Not OK with having location services always on. Please provide a "while using" option.

Needs Work

Requested to split my trip fare with my boyfriend and it charged me full price. When I arrived at my destination, it still showed I requested to split the fare then all of a sudden, the app closed. When I went back my request was no longer there and I was still charged the full price. And when I reported it, the app notified me that the problem had been resolved. Nothing was changed. My boyfriend never even received a notification for the fare split. Definitely sticking to Lyft.

Sick of Uber

Used Uber for years. Sick of their attitude towards drivers, women, governments, paying taxes, etc. Ive noticed the drivers are unhappy, and that really bothers me. I dont want to be driven around by someone who is getting a raw deal - that makes me complicit in their pain. No thanks. In my city, most of the drivers are on Lyft as well - so why not use that app? The drivers make more money by getting a higher share of the proceeds, and there is a tip line where you can tip in the app. Ive noticed the pricing is about the same and drivers tell me the surge pricing is a bit less, and over a narrower area, with Lyft. Better. Also, the latest version of the Uber app wants to track my location all the time - NO THANK YOU Uber. And it is way too much of a hassle to turn location tracking on and off each time. Using Lyft from now on.
