Uber App Reviews

These fake reviews are ridiculous. Ubers policy doesnt allow tipping, never did. I have a 4.82 rating with no tipping. I dont use Lyft because they allow tipping (which is inconvenient), and spam you with marketing notifications. Location tracking "even when youre not using the app" is to help insure youre picked up and dropped off properly, which is clearly explained when you turn it on (to extend the tracking a few minutes beyond your pick up or drop off, it needs this permission from iOS). I hate the lack of release notes, so Id rate it one star for that except that I feel the need to counteract the other reviews, and I do use and like the service. So, Uber, include release notes so your apps ratings can go up, because people that actually use your app and leave reviews also read the release notes. No release notes means we wont leave a review so youll just get the crap reviews youve been getting.

This is the second weekend in a row that this has happened. I request an uber. I wait in the spot I request it and no one ever shows up or calls me. Instead I am charged by a driver who didnt even attempt to find me. At that point I am charged and then have to call another uber (of course the price goes up at that point!!!) and they have no problem finding me. Im so frustrated I cannot even describe it. These Uber drivers take advantage of their job, some drivers are great but some just hope you wont report your experience. And Uber does NOT make it easy to report your driver simply not showing up. There is no option of that in the help section when requesting a refund. I could go on forever but Ill stop here. Dont use Uber.

Cant get a hold of anyone. They charge you twice and rip you off and to try and get a hold of someone is very hard to do !!! Do not use this service ppl!!

The 2-steps verification does not work (I dont receive the text message), I lost the possibility to log-in on the website, I contacted the support and it works only by email and not useful at all. Please make the 2-steps verification optional and add phone support

I am over satisfied of my decision to use Uber. With uber, you are not being ripped off like you would in a regular taxi since taxi drivers stroll the long ways to get paid more. Instead, you are paying flat! It is also very efficient and versatile. I highly recommend Uber over anything else that I have used

I use uber at least 4 times out of the week going and coming trips. If its not that I am getting double charged its that I am getting triple charged. They gave me a $5 credit for a bad experience with a drive and two days after it was gone and they charged me full fair to then tell me in a week they will credit my banks account back the $5! Ridiculous! Most of the drivers I have had are either rude, drive reckless or they pick me up two blocks from my home and I have to walk to the car. Some Uber drivers have no sense of direction even with gps. I waited one time about an hour for a pick up because he couldnt find me. Another experience my driver spoke no English and didnt know where he was going. I can honestly say I been using uber for 4 months And I rather take a regular taxi. I am thinking of switching to lyft but reading there reviews I dont know who is worst. Oh let me not forget how one uber driver called me one time couldnt find me hung up canceled the trip I was charged then another uber showed up. Unprofessional rude this was not the first time I would say this had to be the 3rd time! Uber just lets anyone work for them!

Well, I hope chopping the head off of the evil Uber beast helps to bring a semblance of privacy back to the app. Tracking us while NOT using the app? No thanks. Tracking us even when weve deleted Uber app from our phones? Wow... a new standard of evil. Congrats Travis, I hope you enjoy your "time off"

Now Uber wants to know where I am even when the App is not on... no thank you Uber. How about some privacy!

Love the service. Happy it made it to my hometown. Downside: ALWAYS on location services (its a PAIN) turning it on and off, and the drivers can be a bit snarky sometimes... How do I rate them??? ?

The only thing Uber had going for it was knowing how much the ride was going to cost up front. I dont like tipping. You shouldve just increased fares you morons!

Bad product , I dont like using products that grew using illegal techniques . And shame on Uber.

Left me and my brother stranded. I had 3 different drivers cancel on me. After waiting 30 mins I cancelled the pick up and was charged $5. I downloaded Lyft and had a ride within 10 minutes. Uber used to be great. Now its not so great. Get it together guys.

Im a relatively new Uber user, but I usually only use the app and service when I am in other cities. Originally, tips were not required. Now, I have gotten crappy reviews from two drivers because I was unaware that Uber started encouraging tips. Who lets their "employees" RATE their customers?! What a joke! Also, the fact that Uber needs to know my location regardless of whether or not Im using the app is 1) a serious invasion of privacy, and 2) a major battery drain. I have decided to stop using Uber and go back to using taxi cabs. Uber used to have a good service where it was all inclusive and you didnt have to worry about calculating a tip, etc, but now, I might as well use a taxi service, which is just as economical now, and have a company to call if I have a customer service issue, NOT the other way around.

I cant even create an account and every time I try to it makes my account disabled.

I hard a much longer review before it bugged out. Long story short: such a buggy and terrible user experience in these updates Im actually writing a review. Ill also be using Lyft until uber gains my confidence again.

Because these greedy Aholes want my information I can no longer log into my account. There are only two options. Just like the company, this app is a complete disaster.

These are some ridiculous and obviously employees of the competition leaving 1 star reviews. Very unprofessional for the little push over competition is what they see themselves but I consider,clear throat mhmhmhn "Lyft" losers. Uber is the best drivers are the safest and cleanest and the platform is originally from uber and only uber. Im and Ubers elect only driver and would do Ubers but not for 90 cents a minute but should be 1.45 a mile 10 cents short from a uberxl wish is considered better priced and should be less of a reason for drivers to go offline and d surge the underpaid fees: 1.45 will make the Uber drivers to work for it inst ad of walking away. But I stay away for the underpaid is way to less for my msport
