Can no longer only share location while using app. Tipping now in the app. A huge plus it had over the competition is gone.

This app is slow when it comes to finding a driver after I have requested a ride. This problem needs to be fixed. I like the app over all. But this problem has not yet been taking care of. It needs to be now. Also the Uber Apple Watch app needs to allow people to request Uber pool. This feature has never come to the Uber Apple Watch App.
First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon "t72zp" to get $20 off your first ride! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!
Ok so my car is in the shop getting fixed and I needed to go to work and couldnt find a ride so I thought "oh I can just use Uber!" STUPIDEST DECISION. I tried 3 times to book the ride and if kept giving me some sort of error and wouldnt let me confirm the ride to come pick me up. OH BUT THEY DIDNT FORGET TO CHARGE ME $64.73! Also flat out refused to give me any sort of credit or refund. WILL NEVER ever ever use them again and will NEVER recommend it to anyone
So Uber is raising their prices ? Like why should I pay almost 10$ for a 10 minute ride ?
Ive been using Uber for the past 2 years and Ive noticed its been getting worse and worse. Recently I moved to LA and its just ridiculous out here, drivers driving completely past you, getting canceled constantly, and just the overall attitude of some of the drivers(a lot of pervs too). Yet even with all that I wouldnt rate it 1 star until what happened recently. A driver decided to NOT pick me up, and start the trip without me. Of course I give the guy a call ... doesnt answer, so I call again... no answer. Third time I call he picks up(at this point he is already at my destination without me), he goes on to say the app was being "weird" and wasnt working... so instead of trying to contact me he ignored my calls and finished a trip without me in it. Any sane person would want a refund right? Wrong. According to Ubers customer service I "completed" the trip and cant be refunded. Its obvious at this point he did all of this on purpose so I couldnt get a refund and he gets free money. Extremely frustrating, horrible customer service! This is the first time Ive ever tried to refund a trip, so Im not abusing it by any means. I deleted the app and wont be supporting them any more, think twice about using Uber!
I took a fixed price Uber, but the driver forgot to turn off the meter, so I got charged extra. Their "customer service" kept insisting the charge was correct and I kept insisting that they look at the map, where he clearly dropped me off, turned around, and drove the opposite direction with the meter still on. Over 15 messages later, they finally gave me the $2 back and not even an apology. Worst customer service ever. Ive also had drivers not show up and not answer calls, drivers who call and ask where youre going and then cancel, drivers who just dont know how to use navigation. Uber used to be great, now I think its too big for its own good.
Not worth the money. They overcharge you and cant give you a valid reason as to why when they charge you more than the priced quoted to you. Their customers service is useless. They also send you false promotion codes that dont even work. The drivers are horrible majority of the time. Youre better off spending less w/public transportation or driving yourself around. So decided to update my review for Uber. Its even shittier now and they had the audacity to raise their prices when they havent even fixed the problems they currently have. They overcharge you and then try to say its a waiting charge. How when Im standing at my pickup point your driver is not here. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Ive had drivers who start the ride then make a call and sit while on my dime. I recorded it the last time it happened. Ive had drivers pull over during my ride because their phones died as if I couldnt direct them where to go

Uber had the nerves to charge me incorrectly by something that went wrong on their end. First off I requested a ride late at night getting off from work and the first driver was still completing a nearby trip which took nearly 15 minutes when the eta was 8 minutes. I decided to cancel and because the driver took too long to meet my expectations to arrive on time. I shouldnt be charged for something that wasnt my fault. Next I requested another driver expecting a different outcome and the result was almost the same. The difference was I actually noticed the driver passing by in the area but they couldnt notice me in the dark and I decided to call but it wasnt even his number it was an older man maybe in his 50s and the picture was a younger guy. It seemed sketchy and I was uncomfortable at this point. Instead I called a Lyft which I havent had a problem with yet. I dont feel safe using Uber services anymore.
Let me start off by saying I take several trips in a week, at least 8-12 separate ones, and travel at least 9 miles each way. This has earned me a "VIP" status, minus the VIP treatments. I guess if VIP treatment means having to screen shot the application and every single time I request a ride and about to get in the car, or take pics and videos of where and when I get in and out of a car then yea ... VIP. I get charged extra amounts and the excuse from Uber "customer service" personnel who respond to your claims is usually that your pick up and drop off location werent the same as when the ride was requested. First of all, that isnt my business where Uber gps places me. If I leave my home to go to work and both addresses are "saved", it is not my fault if the gps picks up another address, or if the driver started or ended the trip before I get picked up or dropped off. Its happened on more than a few occasions. My review isnt going to be all negative, there are some positive however Uber has got to work a lot harder for them. Where do I start? Lets get a rating system for Uber transactions and trip reviews, not necessarily rating the drivers who also sort of have their hands tied when it comes to certain things. There are reasons customers may have something to say without impacting a drivers rating. Updates must be made on the routes especially does on Uber pool rides which have often brought me to the same dead end street although I have informed Uber on several occasions. Uberpool experience with the earlierst and latest drop off time has gotten tremendously better. This helps a customer decide whether or not a pool is a good idea especially when pressed wifh time. Uber has been charging me a different price other than the upfront fare which is being shown to me and confirmed prior to the trip starting. I have had to write countless emails to Uber for these transactions to be reversed. Just as any other vendor, they take your money right away then tells us to wait 4-5 business days to get it back. Why even bother with an upfront pricing? The drivers, stop hiring so many especially without testing their driving. Safety should come first and unfortunately, some of the drivers leave me with an uneasy feeling through the ride and makes me jump out of the car once I get to my destination.
Can not tip in app for good service uber policy does allow tipping just in cash. And they lie to people saying they could not .

Seriously? U have got to get drivers who can navigate very well. And why do u charge us now if we cancel after JUST 2 minutes? This is totally unfair to riders! Uber driving is not for everyone who can just drive- but for competent drivers!
My account was "locked" when I was in dire need of a ride in NY, with no feasible way of resetting it. Hopped a cab instead, but it was infuriating that UBER would flat out deny service like that.
