Uber recently launched in islamabad, Pakistan and they have poor service over here. Uber drivers accept the request of customer and didnt come to pick them up and after waiting for long time customers usually cancels the ride and have to pay the penalty. Furthermore sometimes drivers also start the ride from their own location and cancels them and the customers gets charged this time too. They dont take strict actions against drivers who do such things. Why we got charged? Why dont you put penalty on such drivers? Moreover uber doesnt have helpline where customer can call and tell about his problems. You can only message them and usually no reply comes from them. Careem is much better then uber. Much disappointed by the behaviour of the drivers. Kindly ask the team of uber, islamabad to penalty the drivers who do not come to pick customers and just accept the ride for the sake of money and they neither pick the call of the customer. Please improve your system. Truly disappointed. Poor service.

I have been Uber for quite sometime now. And I enjoy it. I have met some amazing people via Uber. But recently, Uber is behaving like a teenage girl on period. It keeps on charging me cancellation so many times, even if the estimated time for driver to arrive is too long. I almost missed an interview because of the driver and loosing 2$ on top of it, just made it even more sour.

even when there is no cars around you they will charge a $5 dolar fee for cancelation, ultra convenient... for them. a cab still safer.

If we have to use uber, then we are forced to turn on location as always which invades privacy as well as battery! There should be option to use location only when using the app!!

They blocked me in the country that i livein coz i said my opinion on a bad driver !!!

Hate this update made it worse then it already was.. Drivers still dont follow the GPS right. I always got to look at their GPS and tell them when and were to turn.

Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

I download the app despite what many reviews say and it wont accept any method of payment. I tried over 3 different cards and wow none of them apparently work! This app is ridiculous and a complete waste of my time.

Why do you need 24/7 access to my location info in order to use the app? Hmmm.

I know uber were testing suggested pick up location (like Lyft hot spots) not sure what happened. I would love to see this function especially for uber pool. It would be great to have the option for a flexible pick up or drop off - e.g. Ability to Specify option of walking 1-2 blocks. So often I see my ride circling or doubling back or caught in one way system to do an exact pick up or drop off when Id be happy to walk a block or 2 to save time. Be great to have this option to save everyone time esp in congested areas!

Uber, Are you too dense to realize that you need to fix the limited options that you provide in the location services setting? I refuse to use your services until you give the option to only use my location while I am using the app.

My battery is almost dead, I need to make it to an appointment within the hour, uber app hasnt even downloaded halfway and its been 20 minutes. I downloaded the Lyft app within a few seconds so its not just the Apple Store or service in my area, or any other factor. Why does it take you so long to download, Uber? Im annoyed.

Uber is very useful and Ive used it many times BUT the image of the driver and the car is sooooo TINY that its hard to identify them when they are picking you up in a busy place. I dont know why they dont make the images bigger!
