Uber only cares about money. The dollar amount displayed on the drivers app and the passenger app has been consistently different and I think that Uber takes more than 25% of its drivers. I also HATE that I cannot tip in the app. Uber needs to change!

So there are two choices...completely turn off tracking or full time tracking. There is no option for tracking only while the app is running...no thanks lyft is the same thing but I dont have to constantly go to my privacy settings... lame uber, lame

Great service from uber!

This is not the Uber Ive been using for 5 years. Its an absolute joke now. The worst customer service experience of my life after the driver dropped me off at the wrong location further from my destination than my original destination. In particular the Google maps integration is lacking, youre better off just using the map so you can watch the route and make sure your driver doesnt take you on a ride to increase your fare. I started with an estimate of 16 dollars with surge pricing and ended up with a 30 dollar charge for THE WRONG DESTINATION. They reviewed it and said the increase in fare was due to more time and distance than originally quoted but that was because my driver literally got me 5 minutes away from my destination and then for some reason decided to turn around and take us near our starting point even further from the destination. I missed a very important and time sensitive dinner with a friend I hadnt seen in years as a result. All in all Im seeing now why people have been bashing Uber. Just go with Lyft if possible. UPDATE: They put credit in my account to try to make things better. The credit was for less than the ride by almost half.

Cant tell us whats new in release notes, get 1 star. Start writing release notes and maybe get a good review.

Their customer service is a complete joke. When you bring a problem to the customer services attention, they reply with the same standardized message. It is useless and unhelpful. I would highly recommend others to not even bother wasting their time with the customer service.

Between the app itself (some drivers have told me it often shuts down or freezes), and terrible drivers (todays driver literally didnt know the meaning of "U-turn" and cant understand the GPS directions), Im afraid to use Uber if I need to get anywhere on a schedule. Today I ordered a car at 7:41, and was told it would arrive in 5 minutes. I watched the car on the app map drive in circles for 13 minutes, then gave the driver a call. She was a few blocks away, but drove around for another 8 minutes before finding me. I could have walked faster.

So tell me how its possible that a company whos main product is rides makes it this difficult to actually get one. Incredibly buggy app to say nothin of their dubious business practices

SERIOUSLY!?!?!???? This app is all about the phone in your pocket, so why do I need a computer or browser to rate my drivers? Why doesnt the email offering an option to rate a driver not open THE APP on my phone? Why should I have to log in through a browser? Not well thought out.

I Uber from private offices out of (FLL) Fort Lauderdale airport quite often. And even though I put in the exact address the app redirects me to a terminal pick. So I have resorted to having to accept the terminal pickup then calling the Uber driver explain on a totally different side of the airport which takes about 10 mins for them to get too. There is more often than not a language issues so explaining where to go is also difficult. I understand the app redirecting to the terminal when people use the current location function. But when I type the actual address of my pickup location that function should be disabled. I may have to try Lyft and see if they have that issue.

Even though it is showing only 2 minutes before requesting a ride, it is showing 24 minutes when connected.. This is happening all the time.. Very bad

Despite entering specific pickup addresses, inaccurate pindrop locations are still sent to the driver complicating their efficient pickup. Also, I am continuosly unable to leave a rating for a driver using the iPhone app. I receive an error message from the Uber website. When leaving ratings directly on their website, the ratings are not saved.

For the reason, the map used in the Uber app has really big issues with accuracy. Many times the cars show up in random places on the map that are not accurate with their actual position. Makes it tough to estimate how my ride approaches my location.

The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Someone has hacked my Uber account twice and Uber doesnt leave you a phone number to contact them directly so you have to wait anxiously for emails. Its ridiculous. I hate Uber and will not be using it anymore.
