Uber tech support work on ur GPS SYSTEM IN downtown miami , 5 drivers couldnt find me for 35 min ....
Pay a little more, and use Lyft. I cannot believe Im saying this, either. Lyft is soooo very much better. Go to RetailMeNot and download their coupons. Dont even bother with Uber. Horrible company! Uber will link link your UberEATS account so do NOT download their app!
Driver has unlimited time to get to you or could cancel at any given time without penalties. The minute youre one min late UBER charges you 5 dollars. There should be an option that the customer gets compensated for our time as well as the driver.

Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!
App only has 2 options for location services. Always on or completely off. Apple has a 3rd option for "only when app is open". Uber needs to engage this security level. The way it works now they can track you all the time, drain your battery, and record what you do. Unacceptable.
If you go from wifi to LTE, the app stops working. You have to hard shut it off (quit the app by swiping up). But, then if youd requested a ride it cancels the trip. This is a serious problem. If people request a ride while inside, then walk to the pick up location their app will freeze and their ride gets cancelled. So frustrating.
This app is complete & total crap. I decided to switch to Lyft completely, regardless of the ride fare, because the app itself is so superior. Not only does the Lyft app have more functionality & is easier navigate, but it interfaces with Waze. The Uber apps GPS is terrible, & I spent an average of 5-10 minutes trying to help drivers find my apartment building because the Uber app took them down the wrong (nearby) street. Sometimes the GPS location was several blocks away from where I was, & if I am unfamiliar with the area I have no way to help the drivers. I cancelled drives so often after waiting 10+ minutes & being late. I can rely on the Lyft app to be accurate location-wise & time-wise, and I dont spend more than 2 minutes tops communicating with drivers, if I have to at all. I highly recommend folks delete Uber & switch to Lyft.
My friend and I decided to have a girls night out, and when I tell you they arrived fast! They were there within second/minutes without any problems!
Drivers get lost and ignore directions, app charge way over what is listed, and taking a car is no faster than CTA because most Uber drivers dont know how to drive in the city. I would highly recommend taxis instead, or just taking the bus. Youll have a far better experience.
I dont understand how people can leave Uber negative reviews. It seems they have forgotten what life was like before Uber came around.
The app spies on your location, even when you arent using it. They treat their drivers horribly, their drivers treat their customers horribly. Avoid.
I used uber (with my companys account) in NYC and it worked great. First time using app (personal) in Seattle and all seems well, I get a driver on the way. Then suddenly it says Im a "banned user" out of nowhere? Banned for what requesting a ride? I spun up the lyft app and had a ride in 3 min. Fix the app or union issues in Seattle or whatever it is... I will probably not use again in the near future.
This app has never or always. This should be while using or never. However they dont give you a choice. I am seriously thinking about deleting the app because of this. Correct this now please.
Ive experienced a few instances where the driver would show up and then drive away for making them wait for literally 30 seconds. Just another cheap money hungry company technique by using any excuse to get the cancelation fee. Why do your job when you can ditch the customer and get paid? What a joke of a company.
Ubers drivers getting worse and worse quality because apparently they are squeezing them on the margins... Also what ever happened to "track while using app"? They want to ALWAYS track me? No thanks.
Honestly I dont even know why I try w you anymore uber. All I get is error messages saying your network cant be reached. Ill just give my money to Lyft!
They charged me twice for one ride and refused to give me refund, dont do it.

The service has gone down really bad, I have gotten drivers with attitude. Just last week my driver wouldnt listen to the gps and he had me going around in circles for about an hour just for his car to die in the middle of the freeway, when I contacted Uber they had no concern about the situation and just gave me my money back, they need to train their drivers better, and they need to up the quality in their costumer service representatives, I also get authorization charges for about 10+ twice a day and it takes about 3 business day to get my money back, this company is making it really hard for me to keep on using them.
