The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Tried to split a payment with a friend requesting me to split and use ApplePay it doesnt work! Had to manually setup PayPal/my card for it to work. I only use Lyft now

This was my first time using Uber period. In the United States I have not used Uber so I dont know how well it works there, my friends say it works well tho. Anyways I traveled to a region Ive never been before ( Guadalajara ) and had no form of transportation other than sub stations or bus. With uber rides where fast, cheap and friendly. 30min drive for 100pesos which is like 7USD right now.

Took our first ride today. Overall easy experience but was shocked to find out I could not tip the driver through the app. No wonder all the Uber drivers I know are former Uber drivers.

Uber was a great idea and such a better experience than taxis. The only thing they have fallen behind from their competitors and seem to refuse to add basic functionality people want like the convenience of being able to tip inside the app. Instead they are focused on making the UI confusing and harder to get a ride without playing 20 questions with the app and trying to get you to post on social media. Not to mention they force you to reveal your location even when not using the application. So instead of providing great service they are now spying on you 24/7 when they have absolutely no business knowing your location data. Basically Im just using lyft now until uber gets around to adding this basic convenience to their app. Its just a hassle to have to remember to have cash. Still more useless features and no in app tipping!!!!!!!

I downloaded Uber once but chose not to use it after seeing the prices. I put in my address and thats it. No personal information or card/payment information. This was in February. I received a call from my bank on Saturday (April 8) telling me that my account was almost empty, being around $7.25. We discussed this and found that Uber has been charging me. I HAVE NEVER USED UBER ONLY DOWNLOADED THE APP! Today, April 10, I received another call. Uber is still charging me after the bank closed my account. My account is now -$400 and has been closed. Uber has taken almost $1,000 dollars from me. I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED AN UBER. This happened in a span of four days. If you are going to use Uber, please be careful.

They have a terrible customer service.

I use Uber to get everywhere in my city. Its so much better than taking a cab and the drivers and cars are far nicer than Lyft. I highly recommend Uber!

A 9 hour bus ride from Milwaukee to Minneapolis cost me $35. A one way 20 minute Uber ride from the Minneapolis bus station to my home cost me $72. No justification. Just plain greed.

Drivers service has become a bigger pain than its worth to use the app. I used this app because I hate cab drivers but theyve taken a seat in front of uber at this point.

I wish I could chose my driver. Please if you can fix that I will love it. Everything else I love it. Thanks UBER.

I used to enjoy this app. Im a flight attendant and have taken uber over 300+ times to and from the airport etc. a few months ago uber reps have turned into hardcore TSA. They decline your payment methods randomly as a "security precaution", preventing you from requesting a ride. Also they have started disabling and locking accounts randomly also. Ive had my account locked 7 times in 1 month. Every time a rep unlocks it and apologizes, another customer service rep feels the need to go back into the system and re-lock the account. Their service reps have zero form of communication with each other. This is why multiple reps seem to answer questions with scripted responses. All of the new changes uber has made has caused this app to go downhill. I hope a new ride service comes and blows them out of business.

Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic!!! We should be able to put business names in the pick up point. My job is right near the highway, so when I order one to pick me up after my shift Uber tells them to get on the highway with my location being somewhere on the on ramp instead of the actual business. If I could just put the business name in with the address it would help immensely and save the pain of calling and texting every single driver to assure they go to the right spot.
