If youre new to uber like I am you should know this app is decent but has A LOT of kinks. They charged me for a uber that canceled on me when I was literally 10 feet away and only gave me not even half of what they owe me.they gave me 5.00 cancellation fee.But Instead of putting it back in my back account they put it on the uber app. Now Im short 13.19 thanks a lot uber!!!!! My second uber guy was cool.

The app has issues and when I tried to reach out to customer service I received multiple automatic messages that were not applicable. They are worthless when things go wrong.

Avoid uber! Terrible customer service! Took an uberpool to work got an awful uberpool route which would have taken an extra half hour. Got out of the car and took the train. Charge for the 8 minute drive? $31!!! When contacted uber all i got was what seemed to be automated responses that said sorry you had a problem.... But uber isnt responsible.... Would give less than one star if possible!! Will stick with lyft. theyve always been fair about their charges and refund when theres a problem and they dont have automaded machines that they call "customer service "!!

The app is easy to use and intuitive, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make/model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away.

I used to love Uber until they got rid of the surge price notification. Now they can charge customers surge pricing without notifying us. To be fair, Lyft also got rid of its prime time notification. This is not good for consumers. Still, Uber is better and usually cheaper than Lyft and Uber also accepts farther destinations compared to Lyft.

App not working for and support is not helpful. They keep asking me to uninstall and reinstall the app. Guess no Uber for me

I used to love uber but the last several months I have not had ONE decent driver.

Uber gives leeway to drivers to cancel whenever they want. Doesnt matter how long youve been waiting or where they are Becoming a major problem.

Not only is Uber overpriced compared to other apps like Gett, but also theres always an issue where Uber drivers cancel. The app isnt user friendly and ridiculously "tracks" your location. Uber needs to do better!

I got charged for rides I didnt take and they wouldnt do anything about it. They are also notorious for over charging. Deleted the app and switched to lyft...so far so good

I attempted to get a $20 ride from my home to pick up my car in the shop. After waiting 1 hour I decided to walk from my home to the closest busy street where I saw lots of activity. Sent my request again for a ride and waited another full hour. Nobody ever accepted my request. At least a dozen Uber drivers drove past me. I gave up, used Lyft and got picked up in 3 mins.

Tried to use it for the first time today. Wanted to set up a ride for later and it gave me no option for a time. It immediately sent a driver and cost me $2 to cancel. Even after going to the help section and reading exactly what to do, the option to set up a ride in advance was not there. There is no customer service at all and the app is simply terrible unless you need a ride immediately.
