App is broken, your requests get cancelled, but still charge you

I constantly see my ride requests cancelled, then i have to contest the charges for missing the driver. These customer service fights start with raji, haji, singh, jay, babaji, and tandoori chicken, who constantly argue that the system worked correctly, and they wont reverse the charge (translation: uber intended to defraud me of my money). Terrible app. Terrible company.

Safe, fast and efficient

Uber steals

I took 2 Ubers and I check my bank account and it says pending for "4 Uber rides I took" Ive been mailing Uber Support but it looks like they still gonna charge me these extra 2 rides when I really took 2 not 4 smh. I hope they go outta business!

Fix the App!

Whenever I get a "fails to find a ride at this time try again" message, uber charges me the current price for every time it happens!

Its not a sustainable application or service

Its convenient while it lacks the basic trust of service. I even took one Uber without seatbelt and Uber did nothing on preventing it.

Location service for uber traffic service !?

Why not have the option "while using the app" for location service, than just always or none. I have no interest to spend my data plan to make Ubers traffic info better. You are using every uber app users data plan to create your traffic record. Thats ridiculous.. Thats force me to turn off the location service specifically for uber.. in my phone settings or just delete this greedy app. Which steal your data plan.. even while you are not using it.

Terrible

I use to love Uber but their service has gone down and the arrival times are never correct.

Okay Ive been using uber for a few months. I had no problems until a few weeks ago. Uber over charges me. From my work to home should cost a minimum of 10$. Not 18$!! Who would pay 18$ to get home from work. And to top that off I have an an iOS device. And I try and use Apple Pay thats linked to my liquid account and I try and use uber and they say it cant process my card. And just this morning I tried using my PayPal card and it wouldnt go threw either keep in mind that both card have funds in them. Why cant my cards go threw. But my regular debit can go threw. Very strange.

Never again

After waiting 20 minutes for my ride to work, which made me late. I had to pay 22$ for a 2.1 mile trip. Never again, poor service and poor pricing. Not to mention one of my drivers had a car that I wasnt sure was safe to even have in the road and another was going 55 in a 30. Youll have better luck being on time if you take the bus.

Location service always on

Developer should make it possible to enable location services only when using the app. Currently its either off, or always on even if the app is not on use.

150 mb?????

How did a map and pin app became a 150 mb monster that does nothing more than the original app did

Car and drivers quality

Ive had really bad experiences with some really old cars worst drivers Ive ever seen

Need to know color of car.

Overall the app was useful when I used it in NYC. But it would be nice to know the color of the car not just make & model. First thing you spot on a car is its color not make & model.

Its a good app its just the location in is kind of messed up

I live in west Lafayette, and these people had the nerve to try to charge me $31.44 to go 10 minutes down the road. Never again!!

Uber came on strong initially and has been going downhill

I travel 3 out of 4 weeks and Uber has seen their last penny out of me. Dirty cars.. shady drivers and today a driver left me stranded at the airport - when I went to order another -the rate had jumped up to $59.00. Disgusted their nonexistent and shameful customer service. Hello Lyft.

No issues here

Works great here on the left coast. All the negative reviews make me wonder if there are regional problems -or- a heavy effort by the taxi drivers to smear their competition. If thats the case, good luck with that.

Worst app

The drivers cancel on you when theyre in the wrong location and you get charged a cancellation fee. You sometimes get overcharged than the price you agree too. They take the slowest route ever.

Dont let drivers rate us!

I absolutely love this app, with its new design, and the service that Uber provides. Its a real blessing in this age and time when not everyone can afford a car and not everyone wants to drive a short distance to get from point A to B, but a recent experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Its frustrating that my rating dropped from a perfect 5.0 to a 4.2 recently as I didnt tip the drivers with cash when I was on a work trip to NYC, and the impact was pretty significant. Usually if there are 3-5 cars visible on the map Ill get a pick-up accepted within 2 minutes but right now its making me wait for 5 minutes or more! I understand the rating system is to protect the drivers from annoying customers or troublemakers but if I need to tip to keep my rating up with drivers then this defeats the purpose of Ubers no-tip policy.
