Requires GPS to work properly - cant access settings or the map without it. Just let me tell you where I am! Additionally, I can no longer add payment options. My old card expired and I got anew number but tapping on Add Payment method gives me a blank screen. I literally cant even use the app now.

This was ok at the beginning, but now there are much better apps put there;. Juno, Lyft, Gett.....they are all better, cheaper, and more comprehensive with the drivers and customers. SAY NO TO UBER

I could not find a clear answer for this question anywhere on their app or site; I had to get it through other unrelated pages. Uber apparently claims to not allow tipping through their app because they want their services to be "cashless," but that makes no sense, because if I want to tip my driver (which I do; drivers deserve tips since they pay for their own gas and vehicle maintenance), I have to give him/her cash since theres no way to add a tip to my debit card. Make sense? Please make adding a tip to our fares an option, because I dont always have cash on hand!

I had a driver return to my grandmothers house (where I was dropped off) looking for me. Very unsettling and creepy. Nothing bad happened, but I realized Uber will literally hire anyone to be a driver and I will not take that gamble again. Stay safe!

Tried to charge me $12 for a $2 ride

I like the app overall and it had functioned every time I wanted to. But I gotta say it uses up a lot of battery. For only ordering an uber, closing the app, then paying for the ride, I lost 10% battery. Would really appreciate if that gets fixed. Everything else is perfect ?

Surge pricing at 8:30pm on Wednesday. Ive taken the same trip multiple times. Its usually 35 bucks and turn into 101. Bye Uber you use to be great.

Tried to update my phone number as I moved to the states, didnt work - the app directed me to a website (not even providing a link, so had to manually type address into browser window). After that I had to login to get help but the stupid system asked me to enter password and then a 2nd authentication was requested with a code that has sent to my old phone number - that I wanted to update. Of course, not possible. No contact number, no email, no chat, nothing! Customer service: non existent

#DeleteUber a while ago uber wanted your contact list so they could send your mom and dad "special offers". then they took away your ability to selectively share your location. now they want your calendar. also: they intentionally and consciously do business with a nation that supports terrorism. uber accepted a $3.5 billion (with a B) investment from sauri arabia. conscience, what social conscience? ditch em. lest their new business partners morals rub off on them and they execute you for being a woman or LGBTQ or otherwise not their "normal". NO THANKS. #DeleteUber uber puts out very frequent updates with no info and no actual changes but they also say to check back next week to see what bugs have been fixed. this is nothing more than them trying to age-off critical reviews from newer releases. apple should investigate this ethically-challenged practice. but its right in line with what one would expect from this ethically challenged company.

I dont user uber too much so it bothers me that it is always tracking me. I keep going to settings to disable it when it could be as easy as turning on track while using the app. Please change that.

Tried to use Uber & I can sign in but it wont let me request a ride due to an error. Contacted support 2 days ago. Nothing. Uploaded 2 different cards & I even bought the 10 for $20 Uber gf from Groupon. Nothing. Still cant request a ride & cant get anybody to reply to my support issue. Why dont they have a phone number we can call? Itd be far more convenient.

I used to love Uber. I used it all the time when I didnt feel like taking the subway. UberPool was amazing. But, over the past few months this app has gone downhill. UberPool is now a waste of time and money honestly. Almost every ride is shared with 2 other people, instead of the usual 1 other, which could make the trip 3x as long as it should. And the routes taken dont make sense. Maybe they are doing this to stop people from taking pool? Thats ok LyftLine is still very good. Customer service is also terrible. If you ever try to voice your concerns they will just send back a prewritten message basically saying "sorry, not sorry". I have gotten the same exact message at least 5 times now, for different concerns. Uber would be good if it was the only option, but I will be using Lyft from now on.

App is difficult to work with especially if you are new to it. Used successfully several times. Then tried to cancel a ride, but it wont cancel even though I kept trying to cancel. Now they want to charge me because it wasnt cancelled in 5 minutes. I certainly did it in 5 minutes but the app wouldnt let me. Uber, thats your problem not mine. Love the service, hate the app. Deleted it.

Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!
