First of all, if you haven’t taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon above to get $20 off your first ride! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the promotions tab on the app and enter the coupon there. Might as well try it out since it probably wont cost you a thing! The app is easy to use and intuitive, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make/model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have car chargers at your ready! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it’s still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away.

After asking the question why can I not use my AE points to pay for my rides? I went through 3 days of hell with them sending me links to click on, make sure youre enrolled, call AE, etc..... Im telling them I AM enrolled, I HAVE called AE, I sent them screenshots of my account but still 7 people involved in my thread were unable to solve or even try. Then the night of day 3 arrives and someone has a light switch on. Oh the current version of the app doesnt support the use of points at this time. Well maybe now you can educate the rest of your staff on this answer. Please sort this out, I am more than entitled to use my points. There was also no recovery. I would like a credit to my account.

Its been a few months now since Ive contacted Uber about this same issue and theres still no resolution. When will there be an update with the gps? Every single time I put in my address when requesting a ride the app always changes it. I cant even use current location because that is wrong as well. It seems as though only Spanish speaking people accept my requests and its frustrating because I cant explain to them how to get to me. Even more frustrating when telling them which route to take because they dont understand. There has to be some type of resolve. Fix the gps or build an option inside the app where I can request English only speaking drivers. Something! -Why are the pictures so small? I would like to know what my driver looks like prior to them picking me up. I think I recall when the app was first launched that if you click on your drivers pic, it will become clear as day what the vehicle and the person looks like. Now I have to squint

Why do you need to track us all the time? And why the hell is this app so huge (150mo) when google maps is only 75mo... really?!

What happened to allowing location services only when this app is running? How is it a good thing to let UBER drain my phone battery by always having my location? Im switching to Lyft until UBER changes this. 12/30/16 Theyre still doing it. Ill keep checking and updating my review. 2/11/17 Uber is still a stalker. 3/2/17 Uber is still a battery sucking stalker. 3/10/17 Another update, still no change. Updating this review is starting to become an outlet for my disappointment. 3/29/17 Yup. UBER still done nothing to fix this. 4/6/17 His is still a 1 star battery sucking stalker app. Im sticking with LYFT

I downloaded the app and never got my first free ride. I should have never used it after this. A few friends and I split a ride and we were all charged differently. I was charged the most and it has been the most infuriating time trying to get my money back. DO NOT USE UBER!

Inconsiderate, inconsistent, impatient and rude drivers. If another uber driver texts or calls me saying "here" in a tone reserved solely for DMV employees I will delete, oh wait already did, this app. I would understand the call or text if I was nowhere to be seen, but not when Im standing in front of or behind your car, phone out waving you down because you drove right by me while staring at your phone.

Dont count on their support to help resolve your issue. Theyll waste your time and frustrate you with their incompetence. Lyft is much better #deleteuber

Used it off a friends phone before since mine was broken. Came fast and was not a bad price, driver was helpful and fast, felt safe the whole time. Dont know why the backlash on here.

There is still no way to only enable location sharing only when using the app. Having location sharing on all the time is a deal breaker for me. Uber: Re enable the option to only share when using the app.

After looking through all their information and being unable to find an email or phone number to contact this business I have decided to not use their services any longer.

Still sticking to their tracking and nothing has changed. It will get a high review again when location services can be set to "When Using App." There is no need for Uber to always know my location and who can trust them nowadays anyway??? Lyft in a great alternative and I dont have to worry about my privacy.

All the time. "Try adding a new one" even though I have 10 times the fare in my account tied to the card. Absolutely ridiculous

Going to keep posting this review on new updates until the Watch app is fixed. Recently picked up an Apple Watch. As a loyal Uber user, I was looking forward to the ease of use via the app. However, the app doesnt work at all. I just get a "error loading data from the server" message. Tried uninstalling from phone and watch with no success. Uber has no way to contact support regarding app issues. I will continue to update this review after each app update that still continues to show this error. Edit: progress but the AW app still doesnt work. Now it is telling me I need to log in on the iOS app first, even though its logged in and running fine. Uber, what the heck?!
