In Seattle and needed to get to airport obscenely early. Had not used Uber since update. Selected REQUEST UBERX and nothing happened. I had two Uber users check it for me, and they were stumped, too. I had to call Yellow Cab, which I did NOT enjoy. Now at the airport and looked again. Seems to be working now that I am at my gate. Pffft...
This app offer has such a terrible GPS that it adds on time to your trip. I am down with uber pool. I get that it picks up passengers. Thats part of the deal. I love the share economy. But when it takes you two minutes from your drop off and then loops you. Ack out of Boston to add on an additional half hour to my trip when my original trip was only twenty minutes making me late for work you can see where in the real world it just does not perform well.
The new app is terrible. It decides where you are and it will override your manual intervention. I was at a museum near an airport - not in the airport - over a mile away. However the Uber app would only accept pick up locations at the terminal or rental car counter. When I tried to override it forced me back to a terminal pickup. After thousands and thousands of trips with Uber the new app is so bad that Im switching to Lyft.
Fail to load correctly in my city. The old app use to update its interface depending on where I am but now only shows "not applicable"

Hate how you cant drop a pin where you want to be picked up now it makes being picked up so much harder when this app now wants an address or current location and the address isnt where I want to be picked up
Why! Why! You broke your app. Nothing works. Cant change payment options. I have never downloaded lift but I just did and taking my first lift ride.
it does not even let me sign up. i had to go to safari to sign up but even then it doesnt let me log in.
Its no longer possible to edit the phone number inside the app. Horrible. Keeps getting worse.

I have no idea why do people complain about Uber This is my two cents great economical fast professional courteous on time clean smelling good vehicles . What else do u want give me and them a break USE UBER out of the world great service
Firstly the new app does not upload!!!! Secondly if it ever does then it does not even tell u how far a car is!!
Nothing happens when you select a ride. It just goes to the map.
Is horrible. All the text is too small, the car pictures are removed and it is almost impossible to input your destination. Roll it back!

The Uber upgrade has completely eliminated my ability to be picked up at my home, and the Uber pool option has now led to two occasions on which my driver never picked me up but started my trip anyway. I never write reviews but this is terrible. I am an avid user of Uber and am considering for the first time switching to Lyft. I have my home address pre-set as a destination in the app. Now, when I specifically choose "home" as my pick up location, the app tells me to walk down the block to meet my driver. For both safety and convenience, I use(d) Uber over taxis in my city because it gives me the option to get picked up outside my home. No longer. On other occasions, my Uber pool drivers have been "7 minutes away," and then circumvented my location, driven literal miles away and refused to answer my calls when I try to inquire about why Im not getting picked up. This is not okay and, again is related to both safety and convenience. I then had to try to contact Uber support for almost an hour to get a ride and get my "rides" that never happened refunded. I used to use Uber almost daily but I cant continue to use this app if it is unreliable, unsafe and inconvenient.
I take uber because I dont want to, or cant walk to a place. Now uber wants us to walk, sometimes to locations that arent even reachable by car or by foot???
No customer service to contact instead of that, I have to submitting a form online. Got the message say that "Youve violated our terms". I sent a follow-up email to ask which term exactly I violated. No reply. Well, app deleted.
