Horrible

A driver was assigned to me and then in the next 15 min he was driving away from me. I called him 8 times non was answered. Then I text him that Im gonna complain him to the uber customer service. He disconnected his number to his uber account. Guys there are too many low ratings driver like this one wz a 6.3 rating that can ruin your day of work!

Go to the Payment tab in the app and enter the coupon under promotions. Might as well try it out since it wont cost you a thing! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver’s face, phone number, and car make and model. It’s amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy!!! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!!! UberX is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don’t see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn’t have to say anything more than a comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I’m very happy and I hope Uber continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service!! I also prefer Uber much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!

Someone can add their phone to your account

I am a rider, not a driver. However, I recently found that someone added a Russian phone number to my account as a partner. I do not know where this information came from and I never got a notification from Uber that this had happened. I only noticed something was wrong because I got ride receipts in Russian. I have never been to Russia, I do not speak Russian, and I dont have a phone number in Russia. How could Uber software have let this happen? I dont know. Needless to say I have submitted a request to delete my Uber account. I have no plans to use Uber again in the future. --

Not reliable, terrible customer service

I used Uber when I was in Seattle. I had a meeting to attend In the morning. I entered all correct information into the app but was dropped off at a different location (same hotel name but different address). I was visiting there so I thought it would be reliable to use Uber. Well hell no! I had to go to the other location and Uber customer service did not offer any compensation or reimbursement for their error. I ended up being late to the meeting and paid way more than a regular taxi. Terrible customer service.

Avoid Uber in London

We have had 4 Uber uses in the last two days and half of them have been way off course and run up the bill -- doesnt matter if an incompetent or an unethical driver -- either is bad news. Just hail a cab or use the local cab hailing app but stay away from Uber in London.

Fix your estimated time of arrival

ETA is completely broken making me late on numerous occasions. Fix it please. Also, no one wants tipping! It will cause drivers to rate riders poorly!

Terrible Customer Service

If you contact customer service they will send an "automated" response partially addressing your complaint before fully reviewing the case. Had to email three times in order to get a full review and a credit. At least have a phone number to call.

Very voice over accessible

This app is great and VoiceOver mode. It is very easy to use. The only problem is I had recently is that the price changes drastically quite often throughout the day. It stopped telling me on VoiceOver mode that there is a surge in price due to high demand or lack of drivers. It doesnt tell me that anymore like it used to. It just has a higher rates or lower rates. Because of this Ive been using lyft a little more often

Really going downhill fast

I have used uber for 3 years now. When the company first started, it seemed like an immediate hit. You sign up and get extremely cheap rides to wherever you want to go. Not only are they cheap, they are also safe and efficient. Wow has this changed! I am working in Washington DC for the summer. To say uber drivers here are completely incompetent is almost an understatement. They constantly cancel rides, extend trips, and some dont even know how to actually drive. Last week my uber driver drove onto the sidewalk because she was trying to switch lanes. The funny thing was... there was no other lane!!! They also dont even pick up the phone when you call them. How in the world am I supposed to know what street youre on if we cant communicate? Really sad to read the other bad reviews. Such a good business plan, but the service aspect has been spiraling downward for sometime now. Maybe do some background checks uber?

Not even one star

They even do not deserve one star I live in Miami and most of the drivers do not speak any songl a English word a god forbid if youre in emergency or something like that youre not gonna end up good also their ETA is always longer than the time they give you and they always trying to charge you extra for something and rude driver also navigation of uber bad this app is going from bad to worse!!!

Horrible Cancellation Fees

Uber thinks its okay to charge you $5 every time a driver messes up and doesnt know where to pick you up. I live in Chicago and on the weekends it can be pretty hectic, however that doesnt mean drivers should just give up on finding you. Ive thrown away $10 in the last two weeks on Ubers that cancelled ON ME after me calling them several times trying to figure out where they were. It makes absolutely no sense to wait 20 minutes for an Uber just for them to cancel on you and then you pay for it! Dont bother going to Uber either because they side with their drivers and not their customers. Deleting this app and using taxis instead.

Poor customer service

Recent customer service experiences left much to be desired. I had an old phone number on my account. Rather than allow me to update it online I have to contact customer service to do so. Turnaround time is several hours. Driver is unable to locate me at the hospital and cancels. I believe the status quo when you breed a culture of sexism and your companys reputation is reflective of this - is to improve the customer experience. Unfortunately uber seems determined to buck the trend here. There is too much competition in the industry (i.e. Lyft) not to vote with my wallet.

You need a customer service number

It will not accept my Apple Pay and tells me to contact customer service....but there is no customer service.
